I remember I was 6 yrs old then when I had my first business idea. My brother's birthday was approaching but my daily school allowance is just half a dollar per day to go to school, not enough to buy a gift. One time at our school bus, I noticed a friend of the same age who brought out her newly bought book of stickers. She was the richest kid in the bus and every kid was envious of her. What i did was I asked her if she could give me just one page of stickers. She was delighted to give (brag) lol. When I came home, i called all the neighborhood kids and showed (bragged to) them my page full of stickers. And told that I am selling each for a few cents. I made 4 dollars in an hour. Then proceeded to the nearest toy shop for my brother's gift.. Thats 8x my allowance for the day. Lol. Looking back, it felt good to know that I had that entrepreneurial idea even as a kid.

I do HATE procrastination and the people who keep on putting things off for tomorrow but I do not agree entirely with the patience aspect. It is important to have the “patience” to plan and keep focused on achieving your goal as opposed to being impatient and go for instant gratification (most people lazy people will listen to your impatience trait as a license to settle for less NOW as opposed to being able to plan and wait for the bigger payoff). The other points are very important. Your videos have very good advice/content.

So I come from a tough family, but money is always on my mind. I got into producing music a while back and I’ve gotten better thru the years, I’m always on the lookout for people to buy my beats, or maybe make something out of my music, get signed. Up selling candy and biscuit from grocery stores to classmate, impatient, act and behave differently from my peers (ie: while they're playing their stupid mobile games, I'm watching your videos and listening to class's replay, going to gym while they're chatting and having lunch etc), and goals/kpi orientated. 1. Sold Trinkpäckchen, that is like capri sun-drinks, at the age of 10 2. Impatience: got my first mobile phone (like in 1997), wanted to unpack it immediately after we left the store. My Dad asked: Can't you just wait till we are home? I said: No, I have to open and use it and learn how it works - That is what comes to my mind when talking about impatience and growing. 3. Goal oriented: since I watched a video of another KZbin 5 years ago I started setting goals in my calendar: year goals, monthly goals, weekly goals. Since that I noticed I achieve so much more so much faster. I had goals before and I still have the vision for my life 4. Constantly improving themselves: I can not live without tweaking efficiency, effectivity, learning, I have to do it! People around me are like: can't you just stop it and relax? - I can't. Dan, if you say that one day I will succeed: I will trust in this and into myself. Before I watched your videos, I sometimes was in doubt what is wrong with me. Now I know what I am capable of and what I got to do. I no longer question myself, I see clearly that others are just different. I no longer want to be like them, I want to become a better version of myself!

I would never think I have an entrepreneurial aspect until I watched this episode. All of a sudden I remembered I played weird games making up businesses like I wanted to make my home's front yard a family restaurant at the age of 7. I planned the menues, the profits, even named the people I was going to get the cash register tables and chairs from and asked my mother to find out about how to make it legal in terms of tax and so on. She let me "play" this game for about a month until I was starting to ask the above people for things myself. Then she thought I had taken it too far amd told me its impossible and I got mad. My god I never thought about that as a character sign only as child play...wow Dan!

At 14 I woke up at 6am and collected seafood to sell at the market for extra cash. I sold snails to them too. At15 got part time Summer job then at 16 I got a summer job working 12 hours a day, 6 days a week all summer and saved enough to pay for my last 3 years of college and pay for a flight to the UK to stay with my elderly grandmother and go to university. I had £80 to my name when I arrived. I now run my own online business management consultancy and plan to retire in the next 10 years. No one was ever like me, I'm still weird, my family struggle to keep cash, but I had to be financially independent from early on, it taught me alot.
