Three stunning Straton Chronos! Quartz or Valjoux for you?

Thanks Dan for the awesome review! Apologies for the 2 dust specs under the crystal of the Daily Driver, I always say: problems can happen with any brand, it’s how they handled that make the difference! In this case if a customer received a watch this way it would be replaced immediately. I can honestly say with more than 10000 watches shipped worldwide in the last 7 years this particular issue of dust has happened less than 5 times so a rare occurrence :) I was not intending these watches to go for a review so I did not check them as thoroughly as I normally would ;) Regarding the bracelet on the Daily, that’s definitely one with a few links removed, normally as standard they would fit up to a 8.5 inch wrist, and if anyone is bigger I would offer more links free of charge. The Speciale if you do a in depth review of this piece just to note the case has a clear DLC coating on it so it scratch resistant keeping that polished case hopefully free of wear for many years to come 🙏 enjoy wearing them! It has to be the Speciale for me Dan. It one of my grail pieces. Specifically the brown and off white dial version.

I like the last one (the Speziale) but in the blue and orange colorway and while I would go for the valjoux if I could afford it I also like the price on the vk64 version - I like the retro 70's look and dials. A bit Tag Monaco.

I love the Speciale. It also comes in a brown dial, which is my favorite variation. I hope to get one this year. Not here on your video, but I have the Competition Driver, which I love. I’m a sucker for retro racing style watches, so Straton is one of my favorite brands.

Hello, Daniel. It seems obvious to me that if you're going to do a full review of only one of these three it should be the most unusual one, especially since you've got the Valjoux version. I've been in love with the Speciale for years and I feel like I'll have to have one (with the Mecha-Quartz) just as soon as I've sold another watch or two. ✌❤⌚

Hate to make it difficult for You. But I am keen on the Two more expensive Models. But, "push come to shove'. I suppose the "Mid- Priced" $499 Mecca- Quartz "Syncro", will do. As for me, It's the most Handsome of the bunch. (love the "racing" bezel) ... Good Luck & Cheers !

The Speciale, I think, deserves a full review. I really like that "vintage" look and that dial is absolutely bootiful ! Don't like that strap though.

Hello Dan, I'm static that you got your hands on these lovely Stratons. I have had my eye on this company as they offer a terrific selection, however my vote is for the Speciale auto with a Valjoux 7750.. one of my grails is this watch in blue. Definately the Speciale with the valjoux for me. It may be the most expensive but with its unusual design and top end movement it deserves a more in depth look. Grazie mille (see what I did there)

Interesting pairs of watches. I never had the chance to see "KZbinrs" making a review of a Straton. At least from the ones I am subscribed on. As for the question? I guess that's quite hard, but I guess it would lean on to the 7750 version. By the way the straps are very interesting also. I Know that the owner of the brand is from South Africa and what a more proper way to use also straps from the also South African lads from Outlaw Straps. Their automotive theme ones are literally a sight for sore eyes. Oh, by the way. Since you are in the automotive theme. There's a British company that makes watches for the motorsport fans. Omologato. Would it be possible to see a full review one day from them? I don't remember seeing any from, well, anybody. Anyway. Take care mate and keep up the excellent work you're doing. Disagree on the Brushed vs polished. Brushed would look far modern. So it gives it modern twist to the overall vintage design of these watches. Not to mention polished is a fingerprints and scratch magnet

Polished case has a dlc clear coat making it scratch resistant as well as the coating helps with fingerprints 👍
