Sassafras on Black Scorpio was all we needed in the dance. Sassafras was very creative and lyrical. I remember when Sassa and General Echo was doing x-rated lyrics. Sassa was versatile with slack and culture lyrics. Glad I experienced those days as a youth.

@@Jamaica809 I guessed you are too young to know when King 👑 Stitch and Machukie in the 1960s and early 1970s, they were before URoy. I know King Tubbys high-power sound from 1968 living in Waterhouse, that is why I don't argued with young people. They only hear from other people,I know King 👑 Jammys when he was learning trade by King Tubbys. Also when URoy was working with King Tubbys operating his sound system, I know King 👑 Stitch from 1964 as a schoolboy,ok.

Señor Boyd, Thanks for the information. I was alive in the early 60's, but very young. Still, I know about them. Matchuki started with Tom's. Sassafrass took me to Count Matchuki's spot on Denver Crescent where Little Tokyo The Monarch Sound System played and Matchuki would spin records and DJ. I also had the honor to talk with King Stitt a couple times over the years. It's a great big world of music. Jamaica809 Rich Lowe (lover of good music)
