Your in my backyard. I'm glad you enjoyed your visited. I'm a frequent visitor of the two farms you shown and Dienner's restuarant. Where the locals eat!. Our family saw David just last weekend. Only note the Amish have church every other Sunday not once a month. Enjoy Gettysburg and safe travels.

Good morning. Thanks for taking us along. Your campground site looked nice along with the rest of the campground. I always enjoy Amish country. Growing up I lived in a Mennonite community. Those people were loving, always willing to lend a helping hand and and they are skillful in many trades. Sounds like the Sight and Sound Theater is a must see. I wish I could have seen the story of David. By the time we are able to travel to Lancaster, there will be something else showing. Oh well, looks like you all enjoyed yourselves in Lancaster, PA. Great video Guys. Thanks for sharing Y’all.

I just happened on your video and decided to watch it. WHY? because I live here and have lived here for over 37 years. Before that, I lived in the Philadelphia area. I love it here because there is a lot of country and a little bit of city. There is so much to do in this area, but you did one of my favorite things by going to Sight and Sound for the show. I have gone there several times and I remember the first one I saw was Noah, what an amazing show with all the live animals coming down the isles, and the theater was all set up so that you felt like you were in the Ark with all of them. AMAZING. There are things I do not like, about this area but I will keep that to myself for now. So glad you had a lovely time.

Thank you Joyce for your comment and for being a first time viewer. We hope you will consider being a subscriber and becoming part of the AATB family. Hi Belinda and Duane the Amish area in Pennsylvania is my favorite places to camp out in. Everything in the area is clean and manicure. The houses are beautiful and the fresh air all around you. I'm excited u was able to make it to sight and sound and enjoy. I'm going to try to reserve a site in that campground u stay in for next year. Thanks for another great video. Safe travels.

The way my 57yr old memory is set up 😂, I would HAVE to make a setup checklist and a breakdown checklist with checkboxes, print them out, and slip them both in one of those clear plastic sleeves (like they use in a binder) so I could physically check off each item as I completed it. Setup checklist on the front side and breakdown on the back, with a dry erase marker clipped on top so I can reuse it each time. There is NO way I would be able to remember all those steps every time. At least when someone interrupts, I could start over that exact step and not go back to step 1. Already know I can’t trust my memory like that. 😂. Looks like a cool place to visit. I really need to sit down and make a list of places to visit in 2023. Thanks for sharing activities outside the campground in the local area. That’s what interests me most when traveling solo.

Great video about Lancaster. We camped there several times when we attended motorcycle conventions. We have not camped there since we purchased this motorhome. But we have been to Lancaster several times to visit Sight and Sound. All of the shows we have seen were just as you described, AMAZING!! We only live 90 minutes away and it makes a really nice day trip to attend a show and then pig out at "Good 'n Plenty Restaurant" before going home. We used to ride our motorcycles through those small towns along route 30 to get to Gettysburg or just to avoid the traffic on the main highways/turnpike. Enjoy your "Anytimer Status" until we meet again. ❤❤

BTW, Duane, your tip about walking around the RV and double-checking was on point. We would be about $10,000 to the good if we had done that last year. That is not even counting the increase in premiums by our insurance company for the next 3 or 4 years. Now, we double-check and sometimes triple-check each other. Traveling with awning out, $2,000; Towing the yellow VW Beetle with the car in reverse instead of neutral, $8,000. Having a conversation with someone in the middle of back-flushing the black tank on our RV with the valve closed...let's just say, OOOOH, YUCK!! Last but not least, we even had that classic Robin Williams event in the movie "RV" when the hose failed big time while he was dumping the black tank. OMGoodness!!! I think we should make a video of all of our blooper/dumb mistakes made while RVing. Thankfully, the gross black tank mistakes were in our first RV.🤣😂🤣

The next time you are in Lancaster County, come to downtown Lancaster and take the African American walking tour where you will visit the law office of Congressman Thaddeus Stevens an abolitionist who hid escaped enslaved persons in his cistern. You start the tour right at Lancaster’s Central Market, the oldest publicly owned farmers market in America.
