Three Thyssen Dover Impulse Hydraulic Elevators @ The Argyle Garage - St. Louis, MO

(1-4-19) This is a small parking garage in Central West End that is built on top of a library. It has three Dover elevators with Impulse fixtures. Each one is a little bit different and has their own character.

I was going to say I've never seen Impulse with this much uniqueness from car to car and from every other Impulse. But the 2 cars in my bldg. have their own personalities too. Still, these are definitely unique.

That first one sounds Wonderful. Northeast mall has Thyssendover’s in their parking garages that are way worse than these.

What is the difference between a Dover elevator modded by ThyssenKrupp and a Thyssen Dover elevator? Because I’m blind, I can’t see the fixtures and all.

Dover elevator was bought out by Thyssenkrupp elevator. During their merger, they had a company called Thyssen Dover that lasted for a short duration. Installs during that time were branded as Dover, but other labels call them Thyssen Dover. After the merge was complete, the elevators were labeled as Thyssenkrupp. Any modernizations after that would be Dover modernized by Thyssenkrupp.
