Ive been a student of the Sultan for almost 10yrs.... My favorite quote is, "When in doubt, grow it out". This has helped me immensely. Thanks again.

great advice, i'm about 6 months into my bears growth and getting past some of the awkward stages of growth has been hard to do but so far it has paid off. Wish me luck for my next 6 months, I'll need it.

Kevin Parker good luck man! I've been growing mine for around a year now. After a few months of growing though I started going once a month to get it touched up..a small trim. I've got the cheese wedge beard this going on I realized. I never knew how to explain it until I heard it on one of these videos. So I think I'm just going to let it grow for a while. No more trims. We'll see what happens.

I needed this!!!! I want a big beard for the Winter. I work outside in cold during winter. Last few weeks of winter I trimmed up my beard. Huge mistake. Well since the summer and hot months just are about over. I’ve been keep it clean and short. So now time to grow!!!!

Great tips. I've extended my initial 30 day grow in period to 90 days before I go get it trimmed. Thanks for the recommendation.

I usually make a good cut once a year. Remove 2 fingers from the beard and shape it. In addition, from time to time, not every month, if some hair stands out a lot, I cut it as little as possible, it does not reach half a centimeter, it is something minimal. I do it well? My goal is for my beard to reach my waist.

Mr. Bailey, I'm going on 14 months with only minor trims around the upper lip for cleanliness. If I wanted to visit a professional to have things tidy'd up a bit and go from well cared for and big beard to a sharper style while keeping length, how would you recommend finding out who I could go to? I'm not certain where to begin to look for people who specialize in beard care.

I come up with the idea of doing a hot cold water routine in the morning for my beard. I soak my beard with hot water than immediately follow with cold water and do the couple times I'm wondering if you have heard of this technique and does it work?. I actually got the idea from Lee Haney mr. Olympia bodybuilder who used cold hot water routine for his muscles and I kind of Segway it to my beard just looking for your input if you have any.

Just curious, have you noticed reactions from people from when you had the Yeard to the shorter look? I would imagine you did. Would be interesting to hear that on some future video. Society is full of visual reactions.

Enjoy the blasts from the past videos. Looking back, it looks so good and well groomed it looks like a professional prop. Knowing your look now, it’s like you can just remove the fake beard to reveal the Real You.

I feel like my beard has stopped growing. It's down to my nipples, but it's been there for like 5 months. With the tips in this video, can I assume not trimming would still be best? I wasn't sure if I needed to take like a quarter inch off or something to stimulate the hair again. I don't even know if that's a thing! haha Thanks, George!
