THREE Years Living in Mexico: Then and Now

This day three years ago we moved to Mexico! At the time we had no idea what we were getting our selves into, no clue how to speak Spanish, and we knew next to nothing about Mexico, Mexican culture, or Mexican traditions. It was a lot of fun to think back to the day we moved and how much has changed since then.

Looks like you are comfortable in Mexico. Some youtubers make it a point to say that they don't plan to be in Mexico always because they are travelers and have gone back to US for good. You two at least for now seem to be building a real life in PV and still travel. I think some youtubers use Mexico to gain subscribers but you two also seem to have genuine love for PV.

The kitty remembers you two, she is young, they are not considered seniors until after the age of 6, my last baby was almost 23 when I lost her, just like every living thing if it's loved and cared for it will be happier and live longer. Know what? I just love you guys. I really laughed when you recounted first moving to PV and how being hungry was easier than trying to figure out where you could go to eat after moving to the apt on the cliff. After watching your vid with Star and all the eating you did recently, it is pretty funny. In ‘86 I backpacked around MX, landing in PV at an extraordinary cliff side ocean view condo with an massive open terrace overlooking the blue majestic ocean to then staying in a downtown $2 a night local guest house with an actual straw mattress. I was awestruck by PV but the heat got to me after a while. Many years later, I’m now moving to Mexico (Lake Chapala) and your vids have helped me reinvigorate my love for Mexico. You’ve accomplished so much and are an inspiration to many.

Sometimes like at "Tacos de birria Chanfay" on Carranza the first time was great, the second was just ok....I think he added more birria sauce the first time and so it makes a difference how you order food to get it tasting the way u want it....We struggle with that....Have a GREAT day!
