There's nobody in the whole universe who'd fill Adam's shoes as amazingly as Matt does. Seriously guys, just stop whining already. "Boo hoo we want Adam back!" Well he's NOT coming back. He didn't like the music anymore and decided to go solo, which, along with the fact he left them in the middle of a tour, is in my opinion very selfish towards the fans. Matt has been working his ass out to please you and all you give him is hate and stupid whining. Grow up! Adam was incredibly talented but he has decided to leave the band without giving a crap about what's gonna happen to it, yet you defend him? I loved his voice too, I loved his singing combined with the TDG style of music more than anything in the world, but unlike most of you, I decided to give credit where it really belongs - to Matt, Barry, Brad and Neil. The singer doesn't make the band. You guys tend to forget that there are more members than one. Even without Adam, I can still hear the TDG style very clearly in this song and I love it so damn much. Even though the lyrics sometimes seem a bit strange to me, for example I always though it's "feed on", not "fiend on". TDG rock, with or without Adam. Deal with it.

it's his life he didnt owe anything to anybody. he left because he didnt like how the band treated him and the fact that did everything for the money. sure he disappointed the fans but he had balls big enough to stand up for himself and leave.

I understand that perfectly. He felt like he didn't put his heart into it, and I appreciate he had the balls to say something, but leaving mid-tour has raised some problems and confusion. He might've waited till the end of the tour. I'm not sure about the health problems, though. I read he left just because he didn't feel the music anymore.

TDG said on an interview that there weren't any health problems, that it was just Adam who wanted to go because he didn't feel the music anymore. I'm not him and can't tell what he felt like, but I'd rather believe an interview that is posted on the internet than pissed off fans who try to defend him so desperately. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not angry at him because he left, it just doesn't seem right to me that he left mid-tour and left the band to deal with it. And as far as I'm concerned, most people here aren't Matt Walst, yet they bitch at him and slam him on youtube on every single opportunity. It's hypocritical to defend them but diss me.

Honestly I think Matt Walst is the best thing that could have happened to 3DG. Let's be real, their 3rd album with Adam was good, not great, and it was all downhill from there. They tried to change their sound to be refreshing but still clung to the same lyrical melody. This single with Matt is awesome and it's very refreshing to hear the same classic music with a different lyrical tone. I love it.

A message to the haters: I get it, Three Days Grace sounds a lot different without Adam fronting them. We need to get over it though. Adam isn't coming back, he's said it himself several times. Some of the most legendary rock bands have gone through singer changes and we still love them to this day. If you're really a Three Days Grace fan, you'll notice that the amazing guitar riffs are still here, the awesome drum beats are still here and the wicked bass lines still here. A band isn't just its singer, that's why Three Days Grace is a band, and not just 'Adam and those guys who play instruments in the background.' Three Days Grace is still here, we just had a lineup change. This song is incredible and I hope that the haters can still see that, even if Matt is singing instead of Adam.

I kind of grew up listening to Adam "live" because he's my cousin, and he'd listening to me when I'd come back from my dad's, crying because my dad questioned me about my mom and threatened me when I couldn't answer his questions. He actually wrote three variations of the songs Never Too Late, Animal I Have Become, and Pain to show how I felt when I was with my dad. I was SO upset when he told me he was leaving 3dg. But what made it worse was the fact that it was brain issues. I lost it. We still talk, but less than we used to because he spends a lot of time in the hospital. We met for the first time in person on Easter, and I spent all of my time with him. I listen to his music at school every day, and I am the only kid allowed to because his variations that he wrote are the only thing keeping me from the thought of terrible things.

I've been listening to TDG since i was about 8 years old, and i have loved everything they've ever made. Adam Gontier has one of the best voices rock has ever known, but Matt is not doing too bad replacing him. I can only imagine what this song would sound like with Adam on vocals, but i cannot honestly say i don't love this song with Matt singing it as well!
