It's amazing how quick Lauren is: calling for how many episodes it's been, but immediately shifting to being real: "I didn't like it" - oh man. I keep telling my CBB-loving friends if they're not barreling through Threedom, they're missing out

Scott and Lauren's feeding into each other's weaknesses and creating a dysfunctional gestalt is like a Soy version of Opie and Anthony's mutual destruction. I guess that makes Thompkins the Jim Norton.

This is a bad place to post this but I don't want to get destroyed on Reddit. Does anyone feel this way about PFT? I love him on the CBB podcast but on the podcast Threedom he's insufferable and it has tarnished what i once thought of him. I've become disillusioned with him. Edit: I'm wrong and I was just in a bad mood that day. I miss Threedom.

Constant inane, insufferable interruptions is the joke on Threedom though right? That's partly why this clip is so hilarious. Seems like Paul is still the same great improviser he always was when he appears on other shows, but that's just not the gag on Threedom.
@snowytundra17224 жыл бұрын
@@MrRevertis I agree with you and I love Paul. I was just in a bad mood that clouded by judgment. I was clearly wrong. I miss Threedom!

If you listen again to the early episodes you'll hear that it's the other two who interrupts and "misbehaves" far more than he does and he actually has a bit of a hard time dealing with it. Then he adapts and they all do it equally to each other in turns. I love it and am super annoyed by it a the same time. Great show.

Scott's a fantastic funny-facilitator, but it's almost always irritating when he tries to join in with the comedy, as himself or worse, as a character. I wish he would just stick to being the straight man and leave the humor to the brilliant people he helps bring together.

@@simonmacconmidhe9489 That's true about this podcast, but he's also known for one called "Comedy Bang Bang" where he will occasionally (rarely) play a character. I prefer him when he's just doing the Rich Hall-era Dave Letterman (who was funny, but very low-key) and drop the attempts at joining with fast, brilliant improv performers. I think the show works better with a "straight man". Obviously, the appreciation of comedy is subjective. I should've written in a more "I think" manner to avoid upsetting sycophants. I thought the Mr. Show 'taint' guy was a bit funny, if much too long.
