In his music, esp.how can you leave us, he's literally filleting himself wide open for the world to see. It's not about record sales (well not ALL about sales, lol) , or hype or wanting to look bad ass or make ppl feel sorry for you. Something like 2 out of 3 adults come from some sort of child abuse. And since it's only behind rape as the most underreported type of crime, and the stigma and trauma makes it where it's not discussed,you can bet that number is low. It takes a lot of guts to let strangers into your deepest pain.

i was already a fan, but in 2021 my wife passed, buried her body on my 38th bday, his songs lived on repeat in my life for the next year ...helped me start writing things out....he definitely was used by God to help me through that time. and he doesnt even know it. i believe thats what we all are here for, to help others make it through this thing called life, to use our talents to help, whether we know the impact or not.

Finally, you guys made it back to Nate(NF) it was a boyfriend of his Mom that physically abused him. This song and How Could You Leave and Nate are very important on the NF journey! He does a great job of diving into and expressing his struggles from childhood trauma to his OCD, depression and anxiety and he can emote those feelings very well, wait to you get to How Could You Leave Us! But he also has bangers and aggressive songs like Returns, No Excuses, Paid My Dues, Why to name a few, funny he actually has song called No Name, love that song! Thanks for showing NF some love and breaking it down! Going to his first show on his new Hope Tour July 12th, super excited to see what the show will look like and what is on the set list! If you're taking suggestions, somewhere between Ghostmane, Korn, Marilyn Manson, and Tom MacDonald (for the political message) is Kim Dracula - Make Me Famous. The song is about how the media plasters the faces and names of shooters, thus making them famous for committing atrocities. It's also my interpretation of the video that he's suggesting that government themselves are behind the shootings. The song mixes about 124 genres of music together, from trap, industrial, spats of jazz, deathcore, a My Chemical Romance style chorus, it just bounces all around, and the video is truly artistic. The song is a wild ride. Something to think about!

This song is perhaps the best personification of what child abuse does to the adult. Its never over, long after youve left the home or even after the death of an abuser. Its a scar that is permanently etched into your soul and into your brain. And especially if it happens before the age of three it can actually cause physical changes in the brain. But regardless of age it's not as simple as though you're out of it it's all over don't worry about it. The biggest issue is trust and relationships. As if you are betrayed by somebody in your life that you were supposed to be able to trust as a child, such as a parent, that is the biggest hit you're going to ever take with trusting. And in truth more than likely you will always have trust issues until the day you die. It absolutely boggles my mind how the shortest period of our lives, taken against the totality of our lives and that is if you live a long life, our childhood is but a blip, but that short little blip is by far the most influential time of our lives, and you will spend your adulthood either trying to live up to our live down that childhood.
