This is a great idea! people make these things way too complicated and they do their best to get the most amps out of the alternater as possible. They might actually fry their engine prematurely from the extra heat but I can immagine it maybe giving them more horse power. If you control the current down to 0.2-0.4 amps you will notice an improvement in fuel economy. For my rav4, I’m using 0.2 amps in town and 0.3 on the freeway (going no faster than 65mph) and I’m getting 30mpg.

I forgot the exact wire gauge but I believe it's 10 or 8 also install a inline fuse you need to use one from a sub install kit not one with thin wires or it will overheat and melt.. mainly use new socks nothing with detergent in it or it will turn your water soapy and it will bubble threw your system. also install a safety bubbler or a 1 way air valve to prevent back fire.. most importantly do not use a glass jar Incase it does backfire you have a bomb that can explode glass into you if it goes explode. the better design I would recommend for this is to build a dry cell setup. make sure you use distilled water and rinse and keep all of your cells materials clean or it will destroy it faster and ruin your cells. 12 volts a cell 15 amps a cell so if you run 2 cells use a 30 amp fuse. idk about this steel wool when I ran mine it made the cells run to hot because it's drawing to much current.. or build a cell with neutral plates many designs are available on KZbin do your research and then research more.. I recommend a dry cell but if you build a wet cell make sure you have neutral plates..

Id love to see the setup where either the sock membrane is swapped with a thinner alternative or the steel wool is being compressed more strongly against one another. In theory youd get alot more amps from less volts the closer the terminals are and thus less resistance. Also try potassium hydroxide its much better than baking soda.

Yeah but do you realize if you're solar like me, there's no efficient way of storing that initial electricity? Battery technology sucks, plain and simple. It's extremely expensive and takes up lots of room inside the home. I have to replace my batteries every 20 to 30 years. Hydrogen is a much cheaper storage alternative for me considering the propane tanks never go bad, they are outside, and I have more than enough solar panels. I just need a good way to convert that hydrogen back into electricity. Once that happens, I'll be golden!

Add a second battery , dedicate it to the HHO unit , charge it at home , and try one journey , without the HHO attached & one with the HHO attached & a third with the HHO attached to the standard . aletrnator battery & see which uses the most fuel ? Hi threewheelsbetter I have a vaporizer Gas & water on my church missions van (See the two videos I uploaded 2003 Chev Astro Van). Would adding your HHO Bubbler to my unit will it increase my GPM and help keep the firing system cleaner, burning out any carbon from high or rich fuel mixture? My goal with the two systems combined is to achieve 300 MPG or better. I may have to double the HHO Fuel Cell size to achieve what I want. A friend is doing the same Tyson Capel. I want to perfect this so I can put these systems on vehicles of families needing financial help, if I save them money with fuel, they can afford to pay rents & Mortgages easier as well as food and other life's necessities.We are going to put the two systems on a friends race car and test it on a dyna tester for both MPG and test emissions as well as time for 1/4 mile. threewheelsbetter. I made the bubbler but I used a gallon pickle jar and instead of using a sock I used two sleeves from a shirt and used 12 steel wool rolls in total, 6 on the outside and 6 on the inside. How much Baking soda do I add to the gallon of water? when is it to much baking soda?

You’d produce better results if your positive and negative conductors (the stainless steel scrubs connected to your positive & negative wires) weren’t touching. Plus it’d probably save your battery from shorting out. With the scrubs touching like that you can expect the battery and/or wires to get pretty hot. *Just a tip for improvement and safety*

threw the power of electrolysis it separates the water molecules into separate hydrogen and oxygen molecules (hho gas) when you introduce it into the combustion chamber,, threw the air intake is the best way. the air going in is mixed with hho and gives you a more powerful explosion in the combustion chamber which translates to more horsepower cleaner burning and better gas mileage.... when you burn hho gass it turns back in to water...

HHO is more of a support system for the car's own fuel system, engines leave gasoline from the combustion cycle over and is wasted, because the vapor from the mist (from the fuel injectors) is burnt not the actual liquid, well that liquid gets on the piston and cylinder walls and can produce fumes after the chamber has combusted.... yada yada, what HHO does is it helps burn ALL the fuel therefore giving more POWER, AND also it helps prevent misfires (when the gas doesnt explode at all) maybe from a weak spark or whatever reason..

there are problems with these systems, normally those problems are... they wear down you're battery, alternator, AND (this is the big one) IF YOU DO NOT FILTER THE ELECTROLYTE FROM THE HHO Solution, assuming you are u using sodium hydroxide, you must incorporate a system to remove this chemical as it will totally destroy you're engine and corrode all the parts it comes in contact with.

heck naw i had forgot the name and i was wrong but turns out i was right also if that makes sense, i was actually thinking of potassium hydroxide is the best electrolyte, but both sodium and potassium hydroxide react and corrode zinc, aluminum and some other metals but those 2 are in engines, theres a simple way to remove the electrolyte from the gas but you have to research that yourself. The electrolyte rides in the moister/water vapor that travels with the HHO gas.

heck naw You can't be right and wrong at the same time. You simply didn't have all your facts straight. In that sense, your comment was wrong. A lot of people, in the thousands, have incorporated these HHO mileage helpers to their vehicles with no ill-affects thus far. All of the anti-HHO people keep spewing out statistics and facts that really have no basis. Maybe.. just maybe there is a tiny fraction of concern for extremely long term usage but for the most part, there's far more things to worry about. Perhaps the rising fuel economy and our dependence on oil should be the start of concern. Alternative fuels NEED to be examined and investigated.

+bugs181 The problem with HHO on a car is you need more power to create it than you get from using it. A little HHO generator like you see here...it's not going to draw much power, but it's not making enough gas to really do anything with. If he wants to install this in his car and drive around...what the hell, it's his car. An HHO generator big enough to actually power the car (which would fill the trunk of his car) will take a LOT of power - more than he can feasibly produce from his engine.

The only way this will improve your gas mileage is if your electrical source is third party. If you hook up to your battery or worse, your alternator you're only putting more load on your system and because hho generators aren't 100% efficient (you have thermal energy loss) you're actually loosing power in your motor. Hell, even if they were 100% efficient it would have no effect because you would basically be taking exactly what you're giving. The only possible way to make this work with a car is if you have a solar cell powering it.

Mat Helm Yes but to break apart H2O you need energy and a fair bit of it too. In a closed system like a car you can't introduce energy, it only works if it comes from a third party. H2O is an incredibly stable molicule and therefore has very little stored energy, when it is broken into its base elements (both of which are very high energy) then it has a high energy output upon reaction. With that being said, in order to get water to break apart into a higher energy storing state you need high energy to break it.

And most of these setups draw 10 to 20 amps (or 1/4 to 1/2 a HP). And the amount of energy needed is determined by the conductivity of the water. Which is determined by, in this case, the amount of baking soda. So nothing free here, just cheaper. Which is why so many big rigs are running HHO systems....

HHO is just the buzzword for 2 hydrogen atoms HH and O for oxygen. Having that buzzword makes it easy to search KZbin and Google for inventions where they are separating water into hydrogen and oxygen. I think the advantage of the steel wool over the rods is that you want a lot of surface area of the stainless steel to come into contact with the greatest volume of water. If you had 2 penny nails that's not much surface area. If you had two billboard sized stainless steel plates then your electricity can maximize it's work on the water. The stainless steel pads create a lot of surface area. A flash back device is really necessary so that if the HHO ignition flashes back into the jar it won't go boom. I've seen where people have another separate jar of water that the hose goes into before going into the engine so a spark won't get to the greater volume of HHO in the jar generating the HHO.
