RIP Kentaro Miura. He died suddently on May 6th 2021. His publisher confirmed this. An absolute tragedy. Berserk, his magnum opus, I assume will remain unfinished. To me, Berserk is the greatest achievement ever done in Manga. And instead of being upset, we should celebrate and continue to be in awe of his writing and art.

@@8DarthGhost8 Grab it from the sides of the head (close to the armor "ears") and pull upwards and the head will pop off, do not worry. Are you interested in removing the neck as well or just the heads?

@@Bornz0r1337 just the heads thanks. I'm trying to switch it out for the Berserker mode helmet. I was just worried the pegs would be too tight to pull out

@@8DarthGhost8 You should be okay to swap out heads without any fear. Just keep an eye out for any soft plastic pieces on the actual helmet and don't add too much pressure on them

I think itll be extremely easy to make the white haired variant as while posing mine the arm popped off right at the section where i think a naked arm could take its place without looking like a cop out. That and the leather belt knives/bags and black swordsman head repaint would be minimal work and would produce a completely different figure

Something I forgot to mention. I had to put some rubber around the ball joint of the normal head that goes into the body since it was noticeably looser than the Beast head for whatever reason.

additional articulation , the hips can dropdown to add more articulation to the legs

It looks great. I hope mine comes soon too. You could probably articualte him more then shown in the video. I have seen some great articulation videos on him already. Looks like Threezero really improved the figures since the black swordsman version.

I've had people tell me they've broken stuff on this one. The spectrum of having stuff break on these figures seems pretty wide. Some people are lucky, others are not. I'd rather be cautious.

Got mine but the lights in the berserker helmet lasts about 5 minutes and then the light fades and becomes weaker.

Great review! I really enjoyed this figure overall but it left me wanting a bit more. It's definitely a great addition to any Berserk fans collection.

I like it more than I expected. On the shelf is reminds me of a medieval Batman. What parts broke on yours? I only had the wrist peg but I fixed it.

@@Tony-ol9ru It was where you specifically mentioned to watch out for when moving the leg back and forth. One leather strap popped out on the pelvis and one side of his butt flap armor popped out. I just had to reglue it so it wasn't the worst thing that could have happened. I'm definitely more aware while moving parts around lol

When I got mine, his left knee armor came off. I had to re glue his knee armor. He's a awesome figure, so much posing options. 👍

my copy also had the upper arm armor came off. what glue do you recommend? this is my first 1/6 figure, I like it a lot and kinda afraid to mess around with glue with this lol.

It’s unfortunate that you were unable to show the figure’s true range of articulation because it has some of the best articulation I’ve seen in a 1/6 figure. I’ve put mine in various pose copying some of the iconic poses in the manga, and I have yet to have any issues. The plastic this figure is made from is VERY forgiving.

Agree! it has crazy good articulation!! I also just bought him too as I got super lucky finding one for under retail price :O I sadly had missed out on the pre orders as didn't know about it. Someone needed the money for Christmas on a local trade site. Kinda felt bad haha

I usually don't go for articulated figures but there's not many statues of guts "in control" which is probably my favorite version of him. This was my first threezero figure and its definitely my favorite thing in my small collection. I hope to god the next one they do is fantasia casca or shierke and not griffith lol. Skull knight reissue would also be cool but very unlikely.

I got mine in a few weeks ago and I love it! I'm just sad that I got a factory error where mine didn't come with his right shoulder armor piece. I got in contact with Entertainment Earth and they are going to contact Threezero about a new shoulder piece. I really hope that they come through with it otherwise IDK what I am going to do x'D but this figure is my first 1/6 scale figure and I love it!

You're a little too afraid of your figure man I have mine crouched the range of his articulation is great and he has more on the legs than what you showed you can pull it down like figuarts

I’ve already had people tell me in the comments of my old Berserk reviews that they’ve broken stuff on this one. The last Guts figure was a mess.

I agree. Mine is also posed in a crouched position with the sword over his shoulder. This figure is a lot more durable than most of the other hot toys figures I've owned. It's more like an oversized action figure. I feel that most people who broke their figures are not used to handling these things. Maybe they were not paying enough attention to the tolerances.

Kinda need help i got this figure recently and ive been staring at the holding hands and the dragon slayer but i dont know how to make him hold it...

great review.I had problems with this figure like paint coming off of the figure and stiff hand witch meant it was a struggle to put the dragon slayer in his hand.you were right about the wrist pegs,they are terrible i went to swap out the hand and half of the peg was stuck in the hand.i tried to take it out but i almost broke my whole nail.i had to use a butter knife which broke a half of the peg,but it surprisingly fits into guts arm but some times the wrist comes off.Stand are really needed because of the weigh of the dragon slayer.The accessory that was really needed is gray hair guts.The cape and be annoying at some times.i got so worked up on this figure i wanted a refund.And going back to the paint of course the hand that held the dragon slayer had wet paint on it which now mean i have paint on the frabic.i know this is all over the place beacuse im angry at threezero.im so scared of breaking my figure im not even putting batteries in it.they needed a full screaming face to make the figure better.its like teay cared about the figure for 5 months then the rest of the time they forgot or either they didn't care

I had one half of the wrist peg stuck in the arm too, but I was able to stick them back together like that. Funnily enough, the sword holding hand was way easier to open than the BS version. I had to heat that up with a hairdryer it was so stiff. You're the first to bring up paint issues on this one as I hadn't heard any until now. Just broken parts.

It’s hard to say. If it’s not Guts it’s more likely it won’t be prone to having issues. Griffith is shorter so that leads me to believe he won’t have issues.

My head won't go into the socket I don't know if its that it's to big or too small. Or am I suppose to push it really hard I'm afraid I'll break it

Use a hair dryer to soften the peg. Hold it on there maybe 15-20 seconds. Don't get crazy with it since it'll lose all it’s integrity and warp.

I just noticed ur berserker helmet has gap as well. Do u think its common i was bothered by it at first i couldnt see the gap of the helm from other reviewers because of the angle u can only see on top.

Yes, you can also use a hairdryer on the ball to soften it and it'll harden again once it cools down. Just let it sit under it maybe 20 seconds. Don't do it too much as you're likely to distort it.
