This should never have been cancelled. Really, the writing wasn't the best, and some of the acting could've been better, but it was damn entertaining, interesting story. And the cast was great fun to watch. Showrunners should be compelled by law to create an 'exit' episode in case of cancelling, wrapping shit up and not leave people hanging. I believe no one would mind forgetting that 'exit' episode in case the show does get picked up again to continue the existing plot *g*

I have all episodes on DVD, after watching the reruns several times on TV I decided it was time to make my connection to the show more stable :::)# But seriously THRESHOLD cetainly deserved a remake - with more episodes in the same styl. After all the many positive reactions beside mine proof giving up on this show was a terrible mistake in the first place. I could imagine Anna Torv ( FRINGE ) or Jamie Murray ( WAREHOUSE 13 as H.G. Wells ) in the role of a redone new Threshold. The toughest part would be to find someone filling out the shoes of Peter Dinklage, zhe man is a fantastic actor.- and his brand of intelligence, painfull satirical selfirony, bitter comments and thougtfullness was brilliantly done by him What is your opinion on this?

Good acting and production values .. Storyline was good .. I hope the Sci Fi channel might pick this one up using unknown actors as they’re cheap .. This series has excellent potential for profits I E a good show for us viewers..

It's too bad the ending few seconds were cut from each episode. Remembering when this first ran at the end of each episode something was flashed on the screen, showing the effect of the infection, insects, animals, people. It kind of a little extra.

This was the ideal jumping off episode for a new season and should have been episode 13. With Jeffery Donovan --- from Burn Notice, which was a great series-- added to the cast and the series might have had life, though expensive to produce. Thats the bottom line. Too bad.

This makes me think 🤔 this series first aired in September 2005, so it’s close to being 20 years old. If this show is anything even close to the access our government has to us, our daily lives and affairs, there’s really no going "off grid," especially in 2024. You might take steps to buy yourself a few days, but if "they" really want you, "they" will find you. 😮

Im so glad I didnt watch this when it was our. I get too thoroughly enjoy it now. This is a show that screams binge watching. Like a book you cant put down You cant skip any of it though. Even though you want badly to get to the best parts. The best parts though are the hidden gems. One more thing,I love shows that I get so invested that I actually hate vertain characters. 🤦🤦 I keep telling myself ,its just a tv show. The characters arent real....yet

NEVER !! The Series got canceled permanently. Bitter, because I loved this concept. But the responsibles in the Network Centers couldn ´t see the value of the show. It is as with STAR TREK or TIME TUNNEL. " TO SOPHISTICATED FOR THE POPCORN EATERS OUT THERE ". ( Gerrold: THE WORLD OF STAR TREK. THE SHOW THE NETWORK COULD NOT KILL, New York, 1973 ) As with the TOS episodes the suits defended their decision with the low appeal to the audience and the questionable market value of the stories. Forgetting this way all the reruns in the Internet and on the air. Besides those shows influence people to study science. With me just take the Time Tunnel fourth Episode REVENGE OF THE GODS about Troja. With Seven I became so thrilled I read all about Ancient Greek and Roman myth. With that background knowledge I had most of the classical texts for the Latin studies in my haed and became best of class. Later on I even studied History and got a University degree after my five years. And that all because of Time Tunnel.

+Roger Lynch television is a business, not a not for profit education industry. All Entertainment industries are for-profit businesses. They are less interested in really "entertaining" than they are making their stockholders hefty profits(which is why they produce 50 times more cheap, sleazy teen comedies & slasher films than movies anyone would care to see a second time). We are VERY LUCKY there is a DVD market for a completed tv series today. Sadly, Threshold can never be completed now. If u want to be educated & entertained I suggest u explore books. The sole intent of Television shows on broadcast networks is to sell advertising.
