Who's still here for that extended outro 15 years later?

I haven’t seen them do the extended outro in almost ten years if I’m remembering correctly.

This has still got to be one of my favorite performances of this song, and it's a damn-shame they didn't add the breakdown to the revisited album.
@skinflowerUK13 жыл бұрын
One of the most under-rated bands ever. Always evolving and always changing their sound, but unlike most, still keeping their stamp. They deserve so much more recognition
@diabdia17 жыл бұрын
I love how with Japanese crowds, they stay quiet until the song is over, and dont ruin it. That's awesome.
@editingdude12227 күн бұрын
I disagree, at post-hardcore concerts, an energetic crowd really adds to the vibe
@guitars1417 жыл бұрын
I agree with that. Most, if not all, the songs have a message. Somewhere. The lyrics have a meaning and he writes them so well.

every thrice song is something special. the sad thing is that some people dont recognize this..

I just saw them Wednesday 5/2/07 at an intimate venue here in Atlanta and they were really good. Dustin (singer) has a really good voice and he can hit all the notes live which is awesome. They are a very good band.

One of my first bands live, since then seen them 3 times. And these guys are seriously underrated
@finalrepentance16 жыл бұрын
Wow, this must have been such an awesome and EPIC show! im so jealous of anyone who went to this, when thrice came to our city, they were at a smaller venue (which is still, by far, the best show i have been to, although august burns red with as i lay dying was insane), but this...this is incredible. MUST. GO. TO. ANOTHER. THRICE. SHOW!!!!

Thrice is an amazing band. They can go from screamo/hardcore punk to folk and everything between. TAITA is still one of their best releases.
@babuvula17 жыл бұрын
right now they're not on tour. they just did a quick tour with TREOS, Norma Jean and others..but they're trying to finish up the element albums. I'v only been able to see them once..but my goodness..one of THE BEST shows i've ever seen.

Live in Japan! Great! Can't understand what Teppei says at the beggining.... something like "domo arigatou gozaimasu" ?? Dustin says "thank you" in japanese at the end too.
@dropCvoices18 жыл бұрын
Dustin and Teppei are christians, and maybe Riley. Dustin recently did an interview in I think Truth Magazine where he talked about his faith. He also did say Thrice is not a christian band, saying "If an artist paints an apple, it's an apple, but if a christian artist painted that apple, is it a christian apple?"
@SavingTheSad17 жыл бұрын
I second this. I think short hair is so much better for him
@LOCOKaHolO18 жыл бұрын
he reads alot of cs lewis..and is very theologocally wise. most of thrice songs are about the human character and the spiritaul and moral paths we take. not dubbed christian...however songs do have subtle christian meanings

this is a way better version of this song... the beginning was alright but the ending gave me shivers.. as always this band is one of my all time favorites...

I'm pretty sure this performance was in Japan, they have different cultural norms then we do, that prob why the crowd isn't going as crazy as you might expect

Vheissu was kinda their way of doing w/e they wanted to do w/o worrying about what people thought. They knew idiots like you would call them sell outs and not buy the album, but people who know them and have loved them from the start would appreciate the album. Their sound hasn't changed, it merely matured. If success makes them sellouts then I guess everyone is a sellout. If someone offers you money to do what you're already doing, with no change on your work, it'd be dumb to turn down.

Woops, anyway. Who cares what genre thrice are classed as? Aslong as you pay them the respect they deserve and forget about all the fucking noobs that come here to bad mouth them, the world will be a happier place.
@FuzzyWok18 жыл бұрын
Lol. Dustin looks pudgy in this video. And why is it that every Thrice video turns into "christian band" debate. Dustin claimed his Christian faith in an HM magazine interview as well. And again declared Thrice not to be a "christian band". I don't see what the fuss is about. Who cares whether they're christian.

They want to be original, what's the point of a band having the same sound for everyone of their albums? That's just boring. And I'll tell you right now Thrice is def nothing of the sort. Love all their albums i must say
