One of the best bands ever
@mattychristian2 жыл бұрын
I took at break at Buzz Fest in Houston around this time. The way the Wooldlands theater is set up they had side bands downstairs while you waited for the main stage to change artists. I remember smoking a huge joint and walked to the front to watch these guys with my gf and my mind was blown. Such an essential part of early 2000’s rock. Paper Tigers was incredibly ahead of its time.

I mean, Nirvana was played on MTV, so they haven't always been bad.

@@waterhi when I read your comment I assumed it would have been posted over a decade ago 😅 low and behold you just commented 2 days ago! I am so happy this band has stayed relevant after all these years, fuck they are so god damned good and such hard working musicians.They havent been to Alberta in a long time but I happened to be 20 minutes from their Cheltenham, England set at 2000 Trees this summer, luckily I made it in spite of the chagrin of my in laws 😅

@@pr3st0nx that's awesome! I had press passes to this mtv special because I knew Thursdays manager through a friend. I followed Thursday around for years going to shows mostly for free and subsequently saw Thrice a lot. They made a fan out of me for sure...but for this old dude it's all about Thursday

lol, this is nuts, I recorded this and added djmihow at the bottom haha. I'm glad it's preserved now. I wish I had the original "unedited" version. It might be on VCR at my parent's place. I will live on!

Damn this performance was brutal they were on fire!... It was "the artist in the ambulance" record cycle and the only time I was able to see them in my country the show got canceled because their Bus broke down somewhere in Europe... Thanks for uploading!

Vheissu was their best work imo but nothing has beaten their first 4 albums. But the Alchemy Indexes and Major Minor were huge parts growing up in my teens
