I've had some holes in wool blazers from ThredUp, but they refunded my money & I got to keep the items. Darn moths! Love the flame red of that J Crew cardigan!

They have a really good return policy. I would rather keep the item than have it in the landfill. I don't mind small imperfections.

I loved your styling on every piece. What jeans were you wearing with the red cardigan, plaid shirt, and Apres ski sweatshirt? And the brown boots you wore with the graphic tee? That was probably my favorite look-- I love a graphic tee too!

Thank you! I wearing Levis Ribcage Bell jeans. The boots are Steve Madden Fanatik boots. I know the jeans are still available, but not sure about the boots.

I agree with you on finding holes on ThredUp sweaters even though it was supposed to be in "excellent condition" also gotten items that were supposed to be 100% wool but instead were 100% poly. Lastly most of their items are way over priced. I get tired of having to return 50% of the items so I'll probably stop shopping there

It is hit or miss sometimes. I've found some AMAZING pieces and some were clearly damaged or shrunken.

I love the fit of the gray cardigan. It suits you so well. ThredUP is fantastic, especially because it's slim pickings in the thrifting department of my area.

Thank you! Agreed that ThredUp is a great alternative for thrift stores! It's also a bit pricer but it's great if you're looking for something specific like a brand or silhouette.

What is upcycling? I don't get to thrift stores too much because I don't have a car and two buses each way to get to one. Don't know all these latest thrift store terms.

When I lived in Boston, I had to walk to take the train, so I get it. Upcycling doesn't necessarily mean it has to do with thrifted items. It's where you take something that exists and give it new life by making it into something new out of it. I do this with clothes and linens that I already own as well. So for the gingham shirts, I will most likely turn them into another shirt or accessories. Let me know if you want to know more about it.

I heard a lot of businesses were effected by the crowdstrike security issue today, that might be why. I went to Wholefoods and their system was really slow. The airports were essentially down today, all flights were delayed or cancelled.

The first pair are Citizens of Humanity, they are older and I don't think they sell them anymore. The black pair and the last couple are Levis. The ribcage bell. I LOVE them and wear them all the time.
