​@littletoh Would you have a tutorial for your skirt? I've wanted to make the Daylily skirt from Mood, but I'd be using a woven bedsheet. Their pattern calls for stretch sateen. I have a 15" difference between my waist and hips, so I'm concerned about not having stretch. Does the curve you drew at the top help?

I love the skirt so much I’m making my own😊❤❤ not only does it look pretty as a design but I think it’s functionality beautiful that I can have a flat tummy (well, that depends on how much I eat but😅) while the skirt itself is voluminous and flowy !

This turned out really cute and looks good on you. My only criticism would be the looooonnngg shoulder straps. I feel like they would be annoying to wear flapping around and I think they detract from the more streamlined silhouette you created in this outfit than the original version. Shortened straps would clean it up. Good explanation of the dart changes as well.

I think 1.5 yard for the top and 3 yards for the skirt should be plenty! I think for me it ended up being about 1 yard for the top and 2.5 for the skirt! 🥰

Hi! Yes, you could definitely cut out a moon shape in the front to make it high low! But I didn't want the skirt to be any shorter than the length it is now so I decided to just leave the hem straight. Hope this helps! 🥰
