I loved the whole thing! the colors are great and I liked the texture the cardboard gave it. Very pretty.

I like the distressed look I wouldn't have painted it. Not sure about all the colors together, like you said someone will love it.😊

No, you haven't ruined it at all. So glad that you are up to using color. 😍

Our world is full of color, so why not use them? Someone will love it! Never know if you don't try. I also love color. Had gotten so tired of everything being painted white! I like white but glad to see color making it's appearance. Think you did great! 😊

I think it turned out great. You'll have to let us know if it sells. Good luck.

I wouldn't have that color in our house. Not for vintage decor. You are so creative though!

I love the design idea. I don't really like how corrugated cardboard looks in projects either. It could definitely still sell as is. If not, the fix is easy, just replace it with a smooth surface. You can even use thick paperboard.

Well...I don't know if it's ruined but I don't care for it. But then, I don't like this paint inlay either. In any event, you're right, you can always upcycle it again!

I am loving your channel. All of your projects. I would really love to do thrift flips for profit. Any advice ?

I didn't like the end result. 🤷♀️I do love your creativity and your channel ❤

You know, I didn’t think it was so bad when you pulled the inlay off it just looked old and chippy. I thought the molds were a great idea. I’m sure someone will buy it. I used to sell and I would put things in I thought would never sell and it would be the first thing out of the booth!

Susie I absolutely love it! I too love color. I don't craft for money or have a YT channel but it is frustrating when a flip doesn't turn out right that is for sure but like you said you can just redo it another way usually. I think it definitely will sell.

You can use a solvent based sealer that's brush on without the chance of smearing the inlays as well... Learned that from Shannon @ Pickin Boots Vintage!

It turned out cute considering you sort of rushed through it. But honestly I do the same thing. I am really trying to teach myself to slow down and take each step of a project at a slower pace and enjoy the process, but I do not sell my items like you do, so I'm sure you have to somewhat speed things along to get ready to sell. You did a very good job at filling in the bare spots with paint. Yes wood would have worked much better than the cardboard, I've learned that the hard way also. Cardboard does not take to paint well. Honestly I think someone will purchase it, it's very colorful and unique. :-)

You didn't ruin it! I thought the inlays we're meant to look worn? I think it looks really cool! ❤❤❤

It turned out fine and I appreciate your efforts to get it done. I think the frame painted a blue or green would have looked nicer. I’m not a fan of coral or orange😉

The colors just make no sense together. All the components look at odds with each other. I am a huge fan of color (like Pioneer Woman!) but this combo of colors just doesn’t jive!😔
