I’m glad you called her Millie. Waiting to see how you are using her. Goodwill hasn’t been nice to me in a very long time. Around my area it’s the worst thrift store. There’s lots of people thrifting now days and reselling too I think and the stores get picked over quickly. The little Lenox clock and the pink planter are my favs.

Our estate sales offer items at 50% off on the final day only if the original price is $40 and under. Otherwise, you can bid, but your bid has to be a minimum of 50% of the original price. I’ve won a couple of times, maybe more. I did buy an entire bedroom set for $225 in beautiful condition. Solid maple. I then found a maple rocker and an end table with a shelf which I use as a side table. My bedroom is too small for two tables. I also got a settee for $37.50 which I sold for $300. I found a Landseer sketch for quite cheap. Still researching. I don’t use it. Not to my taste and quite huge.
