I’m back this Sunday night with a comment. Surprise!! As an old lady who has thrifted for ALOT of years, I’ve noticed when I’m out there, there are so many younger women out there with cartloads of stuff, furiously googling or checking on their phones. A lot of dudes back in the furniture department hanging out for a hopeful cartload of stuff. I think 2020 brought out the thriftiness in people. And channels like yours that make it worthy, fun, profitable. You guys are seriously the most fun and the most helpful and generous. Thanks for that. I actually think our Goodwills here in Minneapolis have picked up on the trend because their prices are getting a little more expensive. But truly, I absolutely love what you do. You make junk fun. You make us think outside of the box. Done! Be well, stay safe. ❤️

Nancy, I live in the Twin Cities area, too! I'm thinking about starting a channel called Zebless in Minnesota, lol. Or, Getting by with a Little Help from My Friends, or, Making Do with Jeffrey (my unZeb-like husband) lol. Wish we could get DIY paint somewhere here!!

🦋I’m on the replay, and I miss Savers. I wish they’d build a new store here, although I found many other thrift stores her, that give back to the community. I also found consignment shops that are great, with Farmhouse decor.. I purchased many antique crochet decoration potholders, and I may make a hand sewn quilt using them. Zen, I don’t like water softeners. I went to my Church rummage sale yesterday. It was packed with people, and all I got was a tote for my IOD MOULDS. I have many and they all fit in it.

Watching you two makes me realize how my processes have had to change due to aging and (different) abilities! Each time you need a tool, I think I would need to set up a tote bag with all needed supplies cause I would just give out! Occasionally I see a pile of rags an think Jami needs them🌸

It's so weird! The gold clock Zeb showed...I took mine from storage a few days ago, mine is a bit bigger, but the exact clock, and I said to myself that I was going to paint it white and distressed. Cool! And those two grey obelisks, fab!

If you come across any train stuff stamped CNR, it's worth bank (old locks, lanterns, oil cans, keys, etc.) Canadian national railway. Ditto on GTR, worth more because it no longer exists, Grand Trunk Railway.

Men's hair oil was called macasser (?spelling), hence the 3 piece crocheted sets to put on backs and arms of chairs or sofas, called antimacassers. Again, not sure on the spelling.

Shinny Brass.. remove the clear lacquer coating... this part you have to be careful.. put the brass object in a container and with a open source of ammonia.. leave 24 hrs.. the brass will crack and tarnish.. I have pics of hardware I should upload

Totally agree with you Zeb on WATER SOFTENERS ...we have one and it ruins our facets just as bad as the hard water does...and it TASTE DISGUSTING !!! We buy our water by the case....🤷‍♀️ buying water but ... ugh to ours! I say if people complain because you are painting something... well then they can buy the items and not paint them! To each their own... and money ...and preference ...and style ! 😁 if we were all the same....how burning it would be ! That is great to hear Ty is so busy ....wooooo hooo ....that means business is good ! Praise the Lord ! Great finds and I’m going to start drinking a POT OF COFFEE at 8pm to stay awake into 10:30 pm when you go live..or move to Utah 😁.... Have a blessed Sunday !
