hey lovies! i missed you!! so here's a vlog. a lot has happened and with getting used to a new addition into our family.. then having to let them go, it has been a whirlwind of emotions. before i knew it, time flew faster than i could even fully recover from the hurt. i am happy to be back and better with good news of hope. in this vlog i wanted to catch up with a little bit about what's been happening.. a thrift haul, a stationery and packaging haul, making clay pins from scratch, and going to some of my happy places! it's clearly a big ol' mod podge of a vlog to let you know i'm back :) but how are you? i hope you're well and enjoying the glimpses of spring we've been having recently? let me know in a comment.. i would love to catch up!

Polymer clay is actually non-toxic that's why it's safe to cook in a normal oven, obviously still best not to mix your food and clay cutlery but just thought I'd mention that. It was developed for kids so it's a pretty safe material ^ _ ^ Also welcome to the wonderful world of polymer clay, I've been a member for over 10 years haha

It actually feels so natural to me that you end up with showing some art on your channel. For one, you have always kinda talked about it a little here and there. Second is that maybe since I myself also got into doodling as a way to just quiet myself and maybe anchor myself a bit, watching your channel always calm me down more as well and give off the same calm vibe as I make art. So it really doesn't feel any weird or whatever to see you talking about fashion to talking about art. I love pretty much all the videos you post regardless of content. Thrift hauls and decor are great, but I’m loving the crafting too! I also agree with you on bringing back the stuff that made us happy as children. I often feel like I got into a rut during my mid-20s. But for the last several years as I exited my 20s, I got back into exercising my creativity. After years of thinking “yeah I can do that” I finally got off my butt and actually started doing. There’s something about the act of creation and self-expression through art that makes you feel like you’re doing something good (for the soul).

thank you for understanding.. 💖 i mean we didn’t give him away but we did give him to the rescue since we knew there were families that could take him in. we think roger was allergic to his dander and that with his constant respiratory issues, i didn’t want roger to develop something worse. he was such a sweet boy and i’m happy to say he’s found a new, loving family!

I feel the same about creativity too and you expressed it really well. It was nice to hear someone say what I was thinking. Also, try not to mix colors with your paintbrushes! It will wear down your brushes a lot faster, especially when you clean them. Perhaps use a small metal spatula or even your butter knife - easy to clean too! 😊
