PERSONAL LIFE HACK: You can save matted woollen items by soaking them in a decoction of white beans after washing them again. To do this, soak dry white beans in cold water for 1 day, pour the water through a sieve so that you can remove the beans and then soak the matted item in this bean broth for about 4 hours (I did it over night) You can then wash the fabric by hand. I rescued my favorite woolen sweater. There is something in the beans that straightens the wool fibers! GOOD LUCK

You can try to get the red cardigan back to original shape by handwashing it in water with hair conditioner. After soaking it for quite a bit stretch it back into shape and roll in a towel. Then let dry.

Sorry about the red cardigan! I've also accidentally ruined my thrifted finds and ended up just re-donating them and hating myself 🤣. You win some, you lose some. I've been wanting to wear more button ups lately too - they're great in the Summer with just the middle buttons buttoned, nice and breezy.

It happens to the best of us! 😁 I've had my fair share of thrift finds (and thrift flips) that didn't quite work out and ended up re-donating them. And I definitely always try to soothe myself by thinking 'You win some, you lose some' :) And button-ups are truly the best staple for summer!

I love dress over pants. My favorite things iv thirfting lately is Graphic t-shirt

Putting a dress over pants always makes a look more interesting :) And graphic t-shirts are always a win, but I can never find them at the thrift.
