You did good!! I love baskets, can't have enough. And the bird is a very pretty finish. white canisters, nice. I had a basket on my steps for years. I guess it wore out. I got rid of my plant stands. Wrong. I need one for the plants I am bringing in from outside. Oh well!! Your daughter is used to going, she just got right up and sat in one of the chairs! Ha Ha!! Later Joyce

Julie, I'm so glad your home in Morgan City made it through the hurricane!! I'm in Lafayette la and girl that hurricane was coming straight toward us. but decided to take a ture in a different direction . My heart and prayers are with those that took a direct hit. Great haul! Really love the mama and baby birds.

Love this haul! I think the $15 you spent was well worth it. My favorite thing you got was the large baskets and I so love the idea of blankets in the living room, especially during the fall and winter months.

After you stacked the canisters, I was having a difficult time focusing as I thought you were going to knock them over, especially when you were showing the large baskets at the end. So glad you did not break them. Loved everything you purchased.

You got some great stuff. I love those 2 large baskets, but I think my fav is the momma bird with the babies. So glad that your La home was ok. Looks like all of our family & friends down there fared well - no damage on their homes, just tons of tree limbs & debris in their yards. And unfortunately, no power. But like my sister said, thankful that it wasn't any worse.

I too thought of you when I heard there was a hurricane heading to Louisiana and when I saw your video pop up I was so glad to hear the news. I too have lost a few glass items out the back and side door of my vehicle (and a bottle of wine once as well 😬) but I’m glad they weren’t expensive and irreplaceable. Great news about your LA home! Super haul; love the bird family the best. I have that big rattan hamper with lid in a dark stain. I have flipped the lid over and use it as a side table next to the bed. Just an idea. Didn't need it as a hamper.

So blessed that your home was safe. You need to buy those collapsible bins to have in the back of your car so that you can put your breakables in them. They have soft sided Ed ones and hard plastic ones that are lifesavers.
