I loved all of your projects. I was watching to get inspiration for paint colors for a glass Crown Royal bottle. I was going to do white with gold highlights. But now I think I will dry brush pink over the white and then add gold highlights and shabby ribbon/ flower/charm. What base color would you suggest …bright white or an off-white(like a cottage white) Thank you so much! ❤

How would that handle look on the head of a doll, like a crown? Regarding "distressed", years ago I thought of how people do that, I also thought of an old "I Love Lucy" episode in which she distresses a piece of furniture. I thought that only in a rich country would people want to make something looked used. In poor countries, people probably have less of a chance to get something new, most of what's there is already "distressed" so there is no need for that hobby. This also reminds me of a similar thought about a fad in the late Eighties. In the LA area, people were putting fake bullet holes on their cars. I thought only in a country where you feel safe, would you joke about having your car riddled with bullets.
