THRIFT STORE CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEAS/FAMILY BASKETS

Hi, I'm Nancy and Welcome to my channel "Nancy's Magic Touch & DIY's". In this video I am sharing with you how I took some thrifted items and used them to create family gift baskets. This is a more affordable way to have a little something for every involved without going over budget. Buying gift for an entire family can be expensive, so why not make a gift for the whole family to share. These baskets ideas are perfect also if you are invited for a gathering.

They make a faux plant cleaner, it is a spray can. I like to use it on second hand baskets. Also you can iron ribbon to help straighten it.. You have created some lovely family gifts. A free standing tape dispenser makes this type of project much easier. Maybe someone will gift you one this year!

When you have a gift that includes kids( the slipper basket ) throw in a few pieces of loose X-mas candy( foil wrapped ). That is a nice finishing touch, doesn't break the bank, adds some sparkle & the kids will love it. ?

Such thoughtful and creative ideas. Love the heartfelt creativity you put into them. May I suggest using Saran Wrap for your food items and then use glue dots or double sided tape to hold your items together. It works fantastic.

You did a lovely job on all the baskets. The black tubing is called mesh tubing, NOT pipe cleaners. Pipe cleaners have a wire wrapped with chenille. A suggestion: When handling food products (tomatoes, bread, etc.) wash/clean the jar before putting the tomatoes in and always wear gloves so as to not contaminate any of the food, even accidentally.
