My god this gave me the weirdest flashback. I had seen the stylized Ariel dolls and I just passed over them but like I totally had the pink blonde one????? Austin has become a terrible place to thrift dolls. Most places have almost nothing, even Texas Thrift usually only has a few here and there. It is a doll desert for the past year or so.

Thrift Town, Thrift Central and all of those over in south Austin were soooo good… I miss them. Also the flea markets in San Antonio! There’s some really good spots in Kyle next to a delicious buffet also. It was the worst time in my life but GOD I miss the thrifting. Are the savers gone?? I know the Brodie oaks one closed down

@@xCanadensis Thrift Town was OK but the other Thrift stores down there had nearly empty walls where the dolls would go. I went about a week ago. The good Savers on Burnet and Northloop is gone. There is one up in Cedar Park. I will have to go down to San Antonio for flea markets,have not done that before.

A guy walked out of Thrift Town while I was walking in with a Rainbow High doll with all her clothes. I found the genie from Aladdin, but there weren't any other good doll finds there. If I hit Texas Thrift when they are putting things out I can find some good things. I live about 2 minutes away from that store.

You live near the Cici’s!! We lived in the Brodie Oaks area so Texas thrift was FAR but I always had good finds!! Also the Kid to Kid stores and Once upon a child in San Antonio and Austin were always great. Thrift town damn near ALWAYS had $30 AG’s Also the goodwill live auctions were SOOOO GOOD
