Our Goodwill picks all the good stuff for ebay leaving the broken, soiled total garbage with unreal high prices for the shoppers. They currently have 2 tobaggans. 1 is $75 and the other is $100. This is the truth. Only reason they put them on the floor as they are too large to ship on their ebay store. Pathetic Goodwill in our area. Love the videos.

People won’t believe it but most brick & mortar goodwills are simply just donation centers now for their online stores. Ever notice that the “new stock carts” are filled with target quality dishes and glasses, random cables, off brand or low value toys and cheap, superfluous things in general? Because the stores need filler items to keep the shelves stocked. Obviously they miss things every now and then but QUALITY items stand out. The employees are told that even if they question whether there is value or not to send it to e-commerce, there is literally nothing they can lose since everything is free.

I very rarely keep what I buy to sell. I may use something I have listed from time to time - wash and put back away when done. However, when I buy lot bags from Saver's, etc, I get what I want to sell and ask my wife and daughter if they want XYZ before it goes in a donate box for Saver's. This comes in handy as the bag was purchased and thus inventory write-off, and the health, beauty, household items, etc get used. Win (items to sell), Win (items to use), Win (items to donate for 20% coupon).

Keep the Pink Floyd for now if you're not sure, but you can always list it really high in the meantime. If it sells at that price then you have your answer.

They sell LP frames so you can hang them on the wall. If you are never going to use it I would sell it. If you like it that much to display it just get a nice copy of the cover then frame that...

I would put the Pink Floyd album in a vinyl frame and display it. That’s what I’ve done with several collectible ones I have. They are hanging in my wall in our basement

Do you get to the Goodwill as soon as they open? You are so lucky you have reseller friendly Goodwill stores. Here in the Washington DC metro our Goodwill stores send anything that looks remotely valuable to their ShopGoodwill Warehouse. I used to find good stuff there all the time like 4 or 5 years ago. Not anymore. I gave up on them. That Alesis would have never made it to the floor at my local Goodwill stores. It would have been sold online.

Nice finds😀👍 I display my albums by using the upgrade record sleeves with the sealing Flap facing the wall on the right or left to swap out different records when I feel like it, stuck to the wall with 2 of the 3M damage free hanging stickers on the top. Hey there Dustin, IMHO if you're not gonna listen to the record and simply want to display it, might as well just get a cheaper copy for 10$ and display that one. Also, if you ever decide to get a set-up to listen to records, to really hear the difference in audio quality between the two, you would need a rather impressive-expensive set-up. :P

I myself would build a sacrificial altar with the Dark Side of the Moon record at the center, and sacrifice stray pets that had the misfortune of wandering into my yard. But that's just me. You do you.
