YUUUP! That off-center cloche would bug the heck out of me, too! 🧐 Several years ago I found a cute little blue train case with the little rack/shelf still in it. I see them relatively often, but most of the time the shelf is missing. I originally planned to paint and maybe decoupage, stamp, and/or put transfers on it, but decided to keep it as is for myself. I use it as my go-bag for my booth. It holds all my merchandising tools: scissors, hole punch, various price tags and stickers, pens/markers, twine/jute/string, extra biz cards, pricing gun, hooks, command strips, felt feet... pretty much anything I may need in my booth. It's amazing how much I can fit in it! Don't get rid of the shelf if you end up taking it out. You may be able to sell it separately. Or keep the inside intact since it's in such good condition. Or keep the shelf for the next case you find and sell as is for the vintage kitsch purists! I've been asked several times if mine was for sale, but I'm not ready to part with it yet. It's too handy! Looking forward to seeing what you do with your two suitcases.

Your haul 😍😍😍!!! There are too many favorites to choose but a few of them: the “half” basket, two stackable baskets, suitcases & bird…however, that cloche 😍!!! The artwork makes me think fairy garden…if you remove it maybe it can be a summer project with your girls to make a fairy garden or “little critter” garden!!! Yes, quicker flips or no flip items are a MUST!!! You are finding beautiful pieces that are being given a second chance!!! Also, I personally think you look beautiful & amazing!!!

I would prefer the front of the above item be showing two legs not only only. I can be querkie sometimes but it just didn’t feel right. All of my best greenery and florals came from thrift stores. Its one of the things ive learned to look out for most because otherwise it can get pricey. I have bought some from dollar tree before but i usually paint it. That, and i mix it with better quality stuff. That way it looks good. But the best quality, i get at thrift stores. Doesnt matter what season, ill just get it and save it. After Christmas, my favorite thrift store is absolutely full of it. Wreaths, garlands, and just florals and greenery. And the best part? Cheap.

I love the baskets and crockery. As for the cloche, I like it facing in the direction that already does. Have you tried using a heat gun to remove the inside piece (swing scene)? That might work with a bit of prying. 🍀 Worst case scenario, you weren't crazy about it anyway. Oh ... love the .98 cent bird too. Great inspiration for layering paints.

Lots of good finds. I think you have found the key. Your up cycled items are beautiful, however having those quick turnarounds can make you quick money with little time. Plus, it may call in a whole New crowd of buyers that are more interested in original items which will make you double the money.

Yes it would bother me too! But be careful taking it apart. Notice it has a Coca Cola can sitting on that bench. At least that’s what it looks like on my screen. Sometimes those Coca Cola items are so incredibly valuable. I would do some serious research on its value before attempting to take it apart. Love your video. I would like to talk with you sometime, I live in Atlanta too, maybe we can meet sometime. We have the same taste and a passion for garage sales, thrift stores. etc.
