Hi Maureen, thank you so much for your fantastic comment. Welcome to my channel! In general I don't work in any scale, I just create as I go and have fun with it as I am by no means a professional miniaturist. If I ever do work in a scale, I will mention it in my video. I mostly use stuff that I just have lying around the house and that most people have, hoping to inspire others to attempt these projects as well. If you do a Harry Potter diorama it would be cool if you did something like Luna Lovegood with a baby Therstral, I think it's something that hasn't really been done before and Luna is such a unique character it's easy to give her a creative spin. Love the sculpt as always, keep up the amazing work

That's why I don't use Facebook anymore, and I refuse to watch the news. I'm over it. I've lost lifelong friends over the recent massive divide in our country (many people have had family members abandon them!), and to me, no political bullshit is worth losing the people you love. I'm sooo much happier now that I've decided to leave the arguing for other people and do things like...watch art videos. Haha!

Amazing I really enjoy watching you work. I usually paint but recently have been mucking about with some bottle art/paper mache and think some of your approaches will transfer across. I am new to your channel and just love the content! I am relatively new to polymer clay and so wanted to ask what kinds of materials you can apply the clay to that will not melt and/or burn during the baking process. The statue appears to be porcelain and the cat statue appeared to be something totally different so I was curious about how you decide what type of “base” materials to use. Thanks so much! Julie

Welcome! I recommend to ONLY bake materials that you know will keep in the oven, like cardboard/paper/metal/ceramic/pottery. Some of the statues I used are most likely Polyresin and I'm really not sure if these should be put in the oven so I don't recommend doing so. Going forward you will only see me use oven safe materials with polymer clay. Next week will be another Thrift store makeover, however I will use air dry clay. Don't get me wrong: I LOVE using polymer clay. I just want it to be safe as well. Thanks for watching!

serendipizzy79 I bake alll the time just to save progress :) and I always make sure I am completely done with all the clay and it’s completely cooled down before painting. I don’t want to bake my paint as it will probably bubble

Personally I think the black was overdone. A small pop of color like red or blue(not bright but darker shade) would have looked good, like a flower in her hair. I love Steampunk!
