I love all your finds, but especially how you style them! That is so neat that your daughter will have her own "shelf" to store her little treasures! The striped fabric looks okay, but I think a neutral would enhance the picture more. Now at first glance, what I see is the stripes.

I think wrapping a thick, beveled mat like that is going to be difficult no matter what fabric you choose. I've had good success painting over linen or even velvet matting like that. You can either tape off the beveled edge or paint over it, too. That way it gets a fresh update, but retains the details. Love your videos. Thanks!

I have 3 printers drawers all thrifted, One is 6 feet long the first I've ever seen like that. It's taken me 41 years to fill them with treasures, alot of the things from when my mom died. Her favorite perfume bottle, an old pill box her key chain.
