This seem to still be on the romantic side vibe. I don't and won't get caught up in the Bridgerton series, but I always was into the old European style that made it here to America of home decor and clothing. You basically already had this type of vibe from the start of romantic garden party mix print flare. This will be interesting to see what you come up with using the new additions from this thrift haul. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

That empire waist was big in the 90s and also had a moment in the 60s. I see it as a nod to the pregnancy silhouette. It’s interesting the overlap in trends and what they say about the greater culture’s, sometimes conflicting, yearnings. On the one hand you have hyper feminism and hyper non gender specific trends, and on the other you have hyper these feminine cottage core and bridgerton trends. These feminine aesthetics may show a yearning by women for a return to tradition. We may actually be learning to churn our own butter soon the way the economy and food supply is going.
