In Costa Rica most thrift stores have a section with clothes like that but they are on the floor and you can literally jump into the big piles and swim through the clothes, so we call them the pools 😅. It's also super cheap, they have different prices depending on the day of the week, being the most expensive the equivalent of $1 there's also clothes in hangers a little more expensive but swimming through the big piles is my favorite activity

The bins are so overwhelming! However, some of my favorites finds there have been two Gunne Sax dresses, Gunne Sax skirt, satin Korean vet bomber jacket (my grandpa is a Korean War vet so special meaning), vintage Bakelite camera, vintage graphic tees and a hand painted ceramic pot holder from Portugal. Planning my next visit to the bins soon.

I love your terry shorts! Terry cloth is so underrated in the summer. The shorts are adorable, but definitely for someone much smaller. You should totally color in the T-shirt and embellish it with embroidery. I'd love to see a video!

When I was building an Aayla Secura costume, I went to the bins to thrift leather. I found all the leather for my costume as well as a 3/4 green leather moto trench from the 60s that had a broken zipper, but was otherwise fine and a pair of insane platform heels. I sold the trench and gave the heels to a friend as they were just too tall for me to wear.

Bins are fun but yeah as a newbie you have to earn your spot. DO NOT ever try to take the corners if you are new. You will probably get an elbow. I have found so many amazing vintage quilts and whatnot in the bins. Actually at my local bins Vince Lombardi's west point sweater was found and auctioned for like 68k. I have found an actual ink signed Ansel Adams print there.

I found an Isabel Marant linen coat and Dale of Norway wool snowflake quarter zip sweater at the bins and so many more treasures. Music and going when it isn't crowded helps. You also just have to be in the mood.

The bins are definitley for the hardvore thrifter, but I've made the most money there by flipping my finds. Ex) 6 minty kid's OP button down shirts, a 70s end table, and Giger painting replica. Thrifting is life! Love your videos.❤️
