Maranda. that big ladel that you said would be great for canning was such an important part of my childhood. As children we would go to my grandfathers house, he didnt have running water in the house or electricity----yep used an outhouse--a two seater i might add. anyway he had to big buckets in the kitchen, he had them both full of water with the ladel--as kids we would be outside playing, we would get hot come inside and we all drank out of the ladel! so sanitary right??? lol but I have it in my kitchen now! He has long passed but i loved him dearly so it gives me such good memories!!!! PS I wish you would have bought me the little glass slippers!! lol Keep these lovely videos coming! So glad the pitcher has a home now where it will be loved and appreciated! When I bring thrifted items into my home, I feel as though I've rescued them. Often times these items were once cherished and used and it just makes me feel good!

My Pampered Chef mixing bowls with the lids are my absolute favorite kitchen item. I’ve had them for years and use them all the time. Great find! And I love the huge pitcher, it’s heavenly.

My great-grandmother used to preserve everything, my grandmother told me that when she was a kid she and her siblings were made to de-seed watermelons and great-grandma made watermelon jam, I'm not sure if she combined it with other fruit as she sometimes did that. :-) I really loved the antique ironing board with built-in step ladder that you shared, I haven't seen anything like that. Great-grandma used to also make her own washing soap for cleaning the clothes.

My daughter and I make carrot cake jam several times a year. You must make it,it's easy and really, really yummy! Strawberry Margherita jam is also another amazing one! So glad for your finds! That truck pillow is so pretty! I saw one at a store this last fall, didn’t get it because it was in someone else’s cart. That canning ladle and the rolling pins were so nice. I love that Ironstone picture that'd be cool with some Wooden Spoons and some mom old rolling pin that's in it and then you could put a decal on the front that you could always remove when you if you wanted to with some kind of saying on there
