Hi, Ginger- How big will your Marilyn Monroe house be? I saw soooo many things I thought you could have used in a Marilyn Monroe house. I like Telize. They have a lot of good stuff at good prices. We do not have Telize (to my knowledge) in the USA. For your Marilyn Monroe house my brain was thinking 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large dressing room, a big kitchen with a long bar, a huge dining room that sits 12 , piano room with a Baby Grande piano, a library with books on the shelves, an office, den and a sitting room attached to a pool for swimming. I know that is 12 rooms, but she is a movie star after all. In my brain the den is opulent for when she has her holiday friends over for a party. And her house is huge and full of opulance. I enjoyed the thrifting today.

Hi Sharon :) I'm thinking it will be bigger, it will be the same width as the others, because of the tables I use, but they will be longer.... the kitchen I have for her apartment is much bigger than the ones I used so far.... and I want to make a sofa, three bedrooms would be cool, definitely a guest bedroom and an office, a piano would be awesome :) it will be an apartment, so no swimming pool :) thank you soooo much :)

Those metal mini office drawers are my favourite find from your haul :) They remind me of the big and deep metal drawers my college artists had at their studios for A1 paper. Maybe you could build a Barbie Art/craft studio? The glass candleholder makes a wonderful table-stand :)That Talize-shop has so many things and the camera always goes so quick I had a hard time keeping up with you today (I always want to look longer at those transparent plastic bags seeing what is in them)LOL If it were possible I would love to go with you thrifting in real life :)

I love the mini office drawers, I put them on the other side and it looks so much better, doesn't look so big, you can see them in my new decorating for christmas video i uploaded yesterday :) so sorry about the camera, i will slow down, i get mad at myself when i watch the videos back while editing....wishing i didn't move so fast :) i would love it if you came with me thrifting :) would be great to have another set of eyes :)

Ps at time stamp (24:05) where you found the pelican that broke- behind it was a "paisley shelled colorful something" that would have been perfect in your Marilyn Monroe house. Maybe in her piano room. You should go back and look for it. Just a suggestion.

Pelican...oh yah, that's what it is, I think I was calling it a swan :) The thingy that looks like a rug? that would have looked cute :) not sure I'll be in that area again to go to that Talize :) it was a bit too far for me :)

Love the purple frame for a mirror and the file cabinet; that wind chime at 25:48 with individual glass bell shape pieces could’ve been used as pendant lights over an island; I brought that same dollhouse at Amazon for $48 for my great granddaughter for Christmas so you got a steal and the Barbie closets find you…Lol.

Hi there, me again, bugging you about goofy stuff that comes to mind when watching your hunting videos 😊 6:25 the glass vase that you picked up then put back down would have made a nice base for a table if you add a glass or acrylic top to it 😁 12:59 and the jewelry holder body form on the left side is the kind of thing that I’d put in a bedroom to hang clothes on, or remove the wires and just put it in a corner as decoration to make it look fancy 😄 8:37 I’m not sure how it was made, but that candle stand looked like it would have made a nice chandelier if you could remove the base and flipped it upside down 🙃 13:42 these make nice flooring, or extra wood panels for projects, like making privacy panels or fencing 🙂 14:46 more rugs 😉 16:06 this kind of clock would be nice as a floor clock (like a grandfather clock) in the far corner of the pop of pink apartment 22:05 excellent find of the business card holder for the office. It’s perfect for the office, especially since file cabinets are various sizes 😀 28:04 these trivets, when taken apart, make great tiles for floors and walls 😃 31:30 the two BTS dolls, though they aren’t your style of dolls, they’re highly articulated and when redressed would have been nice additions to your scenes 😌 All in all, I think you got some fantastic items, and my favorite is definitely the stained glass set which will give you a chance to add some beautiful details to your dioramas ✨💖✨

Hi, you're not bugging me, I love reading the comments, it also helps, its like I have someone shopping with me, wish it was in real life, but this is good too :) it helps for next time.... 6:25 - you're right, it would have made a beautiful table, i just thrifted round glass coasters too :) 12:59 - you're right again :) that's probably something elizabeth taylor would have in her apartment, and i'll be doing a diorama for her as well :) 8:37, it was a bit heavy, but it would look cute as a chandelier :) 13:42, i found a few of them at other thrift stores, but you're right, i should take advantage of the sale you could never have too much :) 14;46 right.... urgh 16;06 you're so right, i was thinking of the pink pop room, but i think the price was too high 22;05.... thanks, i moved it to the other side, and it looks so much better, you can see it in my new christmas decorating video i uploaded yesterday 28:04, i didn't really like the shape 31;30 true, i'm trying to only use adult collector barbie dolls because of youtube kid content rules, want to make sure my channel isn't listed as made for kids.... i kind of sneaked in the barbie i'm using in the dream house makeover videos :) thanks so much .... wish you could come shopping with me :)

The filing cabinet is definitely to big for you current office but if you do another one and put some kind of chunky office machine on it like a printer or old fax I think it would work well. If you come across another wind chime with bell chimes I think the little bell shape things would make great pendant lights eaither one on its own or you know how they are sometimes in groups at different heights.!

I actually moved the filing cabinet to the other side, and it looks pretty good, you can see it in the video I just uploaded yesterday, I decorated a few rooms in the BiB diorama for Christmas. Urgh! someone else mentioned the wind chimes, so mad at myself for not thinking of that when i was there, it would have been perfect as pendants for Marilyn's apartment....urgh.... Fantastic as always. I saw a couple things that you could have gotten, but you got some really good stuff. You can always put a small velvet collar around the cranes neck where it broke to hide the break. And I love the purple frame for a mirror!

Love the purple sink and mirror. They will be perfect for Elizabeth Taylor’s diorama! The blue bird planter is so sweet. He looks great in the office. I’m glad you were able to glue him back together. The wooden pieces are also a great find. Can’t wait to see this little house be flipped!❤

I would love to start it tomorrow.... but first I want to finish the dream house... only three rooms left in that one, and the pink pop diorama apartment, only two rooms left in that one :) i'm creating a whole new wall system for Marilyn and Elizabeth's diorama, it will be bigger, and different windows :) i'm hoping I can do it in pieces, so it's easier to store away :) but i am collecting items for those apartments right now :) Thanks so much for watching and commenting :)

I think this is a fabulous idea -so many possibilities! The “place” could 3 sided cardboard - that could fold up easily and be painted, changed depending on what kind of place it is. etc. Then, as you indicated, a museum or gallery. Wonderful! I’m currently working on 2 such “room boxes” (mine are smaller than 1:6 Barbie scale - I’m doing 1:12 scale). I’m making a bakery (inside a vintage wooden bread box) and an “antique store” inside of a 4 room dollhouse. Again - so many possibilities to make as such forBarbie - a store with handbags (easy to make out of binder clips and fabric), clothing, etc. A coffee shop, candy shop, thrift store, bank, grocery store, library, restaurant, etc. What fun! I hope Ginger will consider doing this! It would sure mean more/different things to look for/buy at yard sales and thrift stores too! 💙 Kathleen

too late for that, i threw it out.... my mistake was opening it up thinking i can fix it, i did call a few places to see how much it would cost to retrieve all the files and it was so expensive.
