I think with the jacket - what I sometimes find is that the best stuff can often be on the bargain rail because the people who volunteer in the shop don’t see it as trendy. That jacket probably belonged to an older lady, and I know my mum in her 60s would turn her nose up at it and say it’s old fashioned, in the same way she’d see mid century furniture. It’s funny how the trend cycles work.
