This is Grandma from Texas. I just love your channel. You are precious. What prompted me to comment was the bag of lace and trim pieces. My mother used to see them around the edges of our pillow cases. It really made them so pretty. You can also sew them on the top edge your top sheet and really get the cottage sweet look. It is very simple to make your pillow cases and top sheets special. Just wanted to add in that idea. My mamma grew up in the depression so they used EVERYTHING. Thank you for your videos. Looking forward to seeing your garden.

Really like the blue willow creamer; also liked the bags of lacy trim, I would put on my plain pillows or plain tablecloths or on plain blouse collars or pockets to make them special. Those blue & white pillows are adorable, what a neat find.

I love all the beautiful pieces you found. I think the pillows your husband found are so perfect and I love the print. The quilt is lovely too. I recently found an antique quilt at a yard sale for $2. I was so thrilled. The simple blue and white dishes and patriotic books will give a perfect amount of a 4th of July feel ,without being too much. Thank you for sharing!

I work at our church thrift shop. When chipped plates n cups come in if they are antique and styles I like I work them into my gardens n planters. Hide the chips in the dirt.

I’m a quilter and I know company’s make special wash for quilts. Check fat quarter shop for anything like that. Pretty sure they have stuff. I’d use special wash on older quilts but I usually just wash the ones I make like any other newer comforter.

Why are you wearing gloves ?

It’s smart to wear gloves at the bins when digging because you never know if you are going to get cut or touch something gross. Often there is broken glass, nails or other objects you can get injured by if your not careful so it’s just a good idea to put on gloves while digging! 😊
