Lampshade #2. I personally would paint the lamp a softer color for her room, cream/light beige. The black just looks more living room to me lol. I do creams/ pinks for a little girl ❤️

On no! I am three videos behind! I have no choice but to stop my cleaning, make a cup of coffee and get caught up! Love your videos, I also thrift and would rather have Thrifted items as decor in my home, then almost anything I can buy at the store because it’s not only less expensive in most cases, but you have items that nobody else has. You have a wonderful sense of balance. Your arrangements are really well done. Please keep doing videos.

I love that you younger ladies are finding out how thrifting makes so much sense. It took me and my husband years to come to that realization, plus the quality is so much better. Yes, EVERYTHING was built well, and built to last! My refrigerator, washer and dryer all lasted more than 35 years! My best friend just bought a new, very expensive refrigerator, the ice maker didn’t work! And it’s taken nearly a year with numerous technician visits, and it still doesn’t work! Crazy! 🤪🤪🤪

Same with our dryer! The house we moved into came with a newer fancier dryer but is didn't last. We saved our "old" one and had it in the garage, so we brought it right in instead. New coat of rustoleum appliance spray epoxy to make it shiny and white again and it works great 🤷🏼‍♀️

@@TashaatHome We had a washer that my husbands mom and dad had. We used it til it rusted down. We got a nice matching set..all electronic. The washer broke down in no time and the service guy said the computer part would be so expensive that we should buy a new one…what we had to do.

What a beautiful job you did!!! I love both shades, #1 is so beautiful! #2 is the best size for the lamp...but I'd have a hard time choosing, too! I love that you put books in her room...great books at that. But the dresser is amazing. I think it looks very expensive now that you've painted it and put the nice hardware on it. Great finds I liked how most of it came out. The black lamp and vase to me didn't go with rest if the room and stuck out. Everything else was great and the colors on the sides if her drawers was a special touch Im sure she loves.

My husband used to play softball in Burlington write often! I've seen those wall ladles in furniture stores with florals hanging out of them, haven't actually seen one in anyone's home. The dresser turned out so well. Love the accent colors on the interior of the drawers. you did such a nice job. You should consider cutting away the curved detail on the skirt of the dresser and straightening the lines. It's the only thing that identifies it as an older piece. Love the nesting dolls!

Loved everything in this video. So talented. Note on the wicker basket. I watched a video from an IG influencer and her daughter was catching her hand on the wicker inside when getting cloths out. She slid a white pillowcase inside and had maybe two inches folded over the top and presto instant fix and so cute.

The dresser is so beautiful I love the pastel sides you added I like both shades #1 shade has more detail to to the pleating and you see more of the lamps base at the top. #2 has a more of a simple look so you can’t go wrong with either ❤ love your style 😊

I’m glad you took the deer candleholders. They are gorgeous and so unique. Great find! They’ll be fantastic at Christmas. The dresser came out great too. It looks brand new and painting the rainbow colors on the drawers was inspired. Either lamp shade works well.

I have a dresser in my bedroom that I will be painting soon {when the weather warms up}, I have had this dresser for about 25 - 30 years ... my mama gave it to me when I moved near her. It is about 100 years old & has some damage to the veneer so I think painting it would be my best option. I so look forward to your videos each week ~ thank you so much for sharing. That dresser looks amazing! I’m glad to know your process. I did one for my closet a white chest of drawers kinda by the seat of my pants. I overloaded myself with looking up how 😊 tos . It did take sometime as well. Thous slide knobs are genius I will be saving them! I had trouble too who woulda though until they did it. But I bought all new knobs. It looks good but I love the slide handle idea. Tks for sharing. I do enjoy watching.
