I moved to Europe 5 yrs ago and the prices are amazing in the thrift stores. The thrift store right around the corner from my house gets Zaras overstock with price tags still on and for 70-80% less than in the states. Many designer shops are much cheaper as well. I realized how huge a mark up things are costing in the states for European brands do to the import, customs, taxes and then profit margin the retailer adds on. I'm curious what that black jacket would look like belted like a trench. The glitter top was fabulous. I lived in Vegas a couple of times and those thrift stores always had so much glitter from people going there for weddings, entertainers etc. Don't ever turn down a great outfit if it only needs some little adjustments. Find a great tailor and letthem work their magic. Great video. 👏🏽

You're definitely right about that. Every time I go to the UK - I notice that price markup we have in the US. The first time I went - I went vintage shopping and omg - it doesn't even compare. I thought about adding a belt to that black coat as well. I'm soooo glad I decided to get it. I hope you're enjoying your new life in Europe! I swear the shopping is soooo good over there. Those leather pieces were a steal, and I remember those heavily sequined dresses from my aunts, a work of art indeed. I have a Wilson’s leather purse from my Mom, I love that bag. ❤
