Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your day and your mom with us. Thrifting is one of the best things to do with your mom and a fantastic way to find cast off treasures to give a whole new life to. I so miss the time that my mom and I used to spend thrifting. Watching the two of you together just made my heart so happy. Thank you for showing that there's more to furniture flipping then the actual art of it. People don't think about the time we take to go to auctions, to bid on online auctions, to follow marketplace, garage/estate sales in the better weather etc etc etc I could go on and on. I have a great idea for those big TV armoires. You do have to get them at a great price. Then,,, make them into a craft cupboard, Home school storage, Or sewing notions and thread holders! With covid people are doing more in there homes! You will need to put a back on them and more shelfs or baskets. I find the ones that already have nice drawers on the bottom, work really well. Then for the top if you have one of those that have electrical plug-in built it leave in!People can use that for their computer to plug-in or sewing machine or light whatever they pick for their craft. Other things are possibly hooks on the doors or whatever customization that you see fit for that particular cupboard. I have seen them used as a “ mudd room” ! Kids coats hang up well in the right styles. Let me know what you imagine! I will be watching!!!

Our Goodwill has furniture in the back of the store, but I discovered that many of the dressers are set up near the very front of the store near the windows. I am glad I figured this out because I scored a Thomasville dresser in great shape for $45.

Up here coffee stations are popular (the armoires even better china cabinets). Take the doors off and put a coffee maker and all the fixins, different varieties of coffee, cookies etc. Small plates and mugs, drawers for napkins and your supplies etc. Styled to be attractive for a wedding gift, for a b&b or inn, even a cafe etc. The outlay is very low, people give them away and if you get one with square lines or remove excessive embellishment they'd be easy to refinish. Fancy up the back of that center shelf with a transfer, logo etc. and jazz it up with wallpaper in the back of the shelves.

If we can find those big armoires we replace the back panel that is usually cut away for tv’s. Then we measure to see if it’s doable for one or shelves. You can always get at least one in there. Then paint it up as a standing blanket linen closet, or a ex large dresser with upper shelving. Because it’s a great piece for kids rooms. It allows people to store away kids blankets and gives them drawers to use for their cloth8ng.

armoires are, with a full holess backing and no tv stand inside the doors a perfect closet of sorts if you put a rod inside them and hang your clothes in the top and put undies and tshirts in the bottom if it has drawers. Some rooms just dont have closets and this is the next best thing.

I LOVE the pink chairs! I'd have bought the two solid pink ones and also the wild one at 2:00. Of course, I live alone so I can have any color I want in here. I have two maroon colored velvet chairs that people are always trying to buy from me. I just love me some pink! Not particularly Barbie pink or pepto bismol pink, but I did like that dresser that was painted Barbie pink. LOL And I'm 63 years old! 21:12 I can't imagine anyone purchasing these, but I would love to see what you would do with them if you refinished them. Those would be fun in a playroom if you had twins. I have a great niece and great nephew and I painted and put their names on some random chairs and these would've been so cool to have used if I had had them. I remember sitting in these kind of chairs in grammar school and I'm left-handed and it was awkward to use while left-handed. 😐 21:18 Have you ever tried to paint a leather/pleather or even fabric piece. I have a friend who painted her leather sofa and it looked amazing! I have a leather sofa and loveseat and I don't like the color, so would love to know how to paint them. I don't like sitting on leather either, but that's besides the point. I might sell them and get something more comfortable. 22:50 I wish you had shown the chair with the rounded front of the seat to the left of the piece you were showing. That would be interesting and it's different. I love anything odd. Awesome video!

Also of the chest of drawers you have revamped is worth $400 to $1500 second hand here before you revamp them .
