one thing ppl need to understand is thrifting is sometimes hit or miss but those hits are so so sooooo worth it, now it’s like a form of decompression for me! just searching for things and even if I don’t buy anything it’s just fun to look at stuff and hope it finds good homes one day. I'd love to start thrifting, how often do you recommend going? I am kinda afraid to go too often where nothing new is brought out but also afraid to miss out.

@@brittanys505 I usually go every 1-2 weeks, once a week! I frequent the same store in my area bc they always have great stuff! but it helps to move around and take a leap everyone once in a while with a new store. Let’s say you thrift on a Wednesday at one store, I would come back the next week on a Tuesday. I always try to go earlier in the week but not too early like on a Sun bc they haven’t put new stuff out yet. The first few trips and just taking the time to look are worth it, even if you don’t leave with anything right away. Golden rule is the 1-1 ratio, every week on 1 day.
