Did you realize that the terracotta colored mug you bought matched that terracotta glazed pumpkin-shaped teapot? There were at least 2 mugs (one of which you bought), and they had a square base just like the teapot. That avocado green velvet pumpkin was $12.99?!? Wow! Your prices are pretty high! Hi Cheryl. I did notice that. There were 2 of those mugs and I did feel a little bad not buying the set but I prefer to buy individual mugs vs sets (so when we have groups over and several people have mugs they don’t get mixed up). I figured since they priced them individually they were ok with splitting it up. Yes, I’m in Washington state. The little green pumpkin was actually $2.99, but even at that it felt pretty expensive for what it was. I’ve gotten a little spoiled with the Goodwill Outlet prices. 😜

LV your creative brain. Currently designers are selling this quite luxury theme. Neutrals. For me a 75 year old young artist, color is essential to me. Happy and cheerful. I use to have a tradition French European home. Since I am a painter, lots of purchased art, sculpture and my paintings in our home. I would never go back. Minimalist and no color is what a lot of younger people lean towards . You are very skilled. I never buy down, it is soft and mushy. I ordered extra firm for a recent couch we bought. It won’t get mushy.

Had my first Goodwill Bins experience last Friday in Des Moines Iowa. Wow! $1.79/#!! I walked out with literal trunk full of wonderful items for DIY& for home decor! $60 very well spent. Hi Jannie! Honestly, since they are just sitting in a vase I have never felt the need to clean them. Looking online it sounds like you can place half a cup of cornmeal or table salt in a bag, then put your flowers in the bag and shake gently. Hope that helps. :)

New subscriber. I am a dedicated Goodwill shopper and I also get severe sticker shock the few times I go into a "regular" store. But I will have to investigate their outlet store. Looks like it will be worth the trip. Just a side note: Had a friend who was appalled that I shopped at Goodwill. Been told by her husband it was just for poor people. My reply was that Goodwill wouldn't be able to keep the doors open if everyone wasn't able to shop there. 😊

A hint for marking off an uneven circular vase--Dee from "She's So Craft Dee" uses black electrical tape because it stretches and will adhere to uneven items and not leak under the tape as you paint it.. I really enjoy your site. Our Goodwill stores do not have as many items as you find in yours, but your transformations have inspired me with some of the things I've found.

Here in Australia, our seasons are not as defined as those in the northern hemisphere so we don't tend to decorate specifically for them (except for Christmas, of course). We seem to go fairly quickly from winter to summer. In fairly recent years, Halloween has become more popular here. I love getting ideas from your channel. I recently found a great little wooden tray for half price and I've styled it in my kitchen using your ideas.
