I actually have been working at Levi’s for almost 3 years! 531 women’s jeans are some pretty rare jeans to find I believe those are from the 80’s! Also if your Levi’s denim has a papery tag on the inside with the style number on it, then on the back of the tag there should be some numbers. The 4 digit code is actually the date that it was made. The more fabric feeling tags were made in the early 2000’s and are still used today!

I’ve never had luck thrifting Levi’s, 501s don’t flatter me...but I’m in love with my Ribcage straight, Wedgie straight, and recently purchased Ribcage Flares (heck yes!) and Balloon leg pairs! All bought on sale. I scooped a pair of Ribcage Wideleg for $25 but need to get them hemmed they are super long. Safe to say I’m a fan of Levi’s denim. Nice collection Haley👌🙌

If you love vintage Levi’s that are above the belly button, I highly recommend finding a pair of 900 series! They’re the most flattering jeans ever! Also around the mid-90s Levi’s got a little cheap and stopped making their jeans in America and started using cheaper denim so a real vintage denim about 1995 and earlier will actually last forever! I’ve had a 701 pair that are from the early 90’s, I’ve worn them at least once a week for 10 years now and they’re still perfect! And that style now is $300 in their website for much lower quality! Nothing beats a good vintage find!

You need to try 901s!!! They’re higher rise than 501s with the same fit! They are true vintage so they’ll be more expensive! Same with 512s

Also if you want to know the year they are made, look at the back of the button on the front (should be 3 numbers) and then look at the back of the care tag and find the same number! Next to that number is the month and year the jeans were made! This will work for late 80s-early 2000s (usually only to 2003)

I love your denim collection! I wish I could find some cute vintage denims or shorts... This morning, for the very first time, I finally thrifted the PERFECT denim from the little boys section. Perfect wash, perfect high waist, perfect vintage tag and it was only 2 dollars! I couldn’t wait to transform it into mom destroyed shorts. But the fabric was too worn out and it sadly tore all the way up in the front in a few minutes. I’m so sad about it because it would have been my new fav shorts 😭
