I used to love command strips but last week a picture (which was very light might I add) that had been up for 3+ years fell off the wall at 4am and set off my home alarm's glass break sensor. Needless to say it scared the crap out of me and my husband to wake up thinking someone broke into our house. Fair warning command products are great but the adhesive can fail over time. If it is something you really like and don't want broken, it might be a good idea to use a small brad nail for extra security. Love your videos and keep up the good work!!!

Yayyyyy.. part 7. I've been waiting for this.. 😁 Great way to store the ribbon... I love it.. It all looks wonderful, now to wait for the full reveal. I'm making headway in my craft room too.... thanks in part to you. I bought some light filtering curtains that I had my hubby help in putting them up.. I sprayed the bronze rod a pretty light bubblegum pink. My colors are rose gold, pink and grey. I have made use of the wonderful acrylic containers from the Dollar Tree, by using E6000 and making 3 or 4 high towers with the sets of drawers. It's a slow process, but with baby steps I'm getting there. Thanks for sharing today's video.. 💟💖

A hint, put your paints on lid down, make sure they are closed properly though, it will show the colour of paint and keeps it settling too much in the bottom

This has been a great series. I'm a crafter so I can related to lots of supplies. I try to keep my space organized and it usually works. I spent a couple of months redoing everything at the first of the year and so far so good. I love the ribbon display and would love to do something like that. Mine is in two drawers but the way you displayed yours is beautiful!

Thanks for the update :) if you need more space, maybe you could turn the cabinet under the gallery wall vertically ( that way you'd have space on the side to store things, and maybe move the photos up higher) or remove the gallery wall and use the space to store things on the wall instead. Looking forward to the final reveal :D

Love how things are coming together!! I have a suggestion about your ribbons,if you use small straight pins on the edges of your ribbons ,it is a life saver,I use to use tape also but when heat got to them the tape lost it stickiness, and some tapes I used discolored my ribbon where the tape was,so maybe that is a tip you could use. Have a Great School year!! God Bless!!
@katelynmccoy33676 жыл бұрын
Love all your organization ideas, the ribbon one turned out really cute, it would be tedious because you would have to take all the ribbon off and put it back on, but it would be cuter if you spray paint the rods gold too, just a thought.

Your room is looking great. I've enjoyed watching your craft room series. I will be keeping my eye out at the thrift stores for the K-Cup Carousel. That's a great idea. Thanks. My craft room was the spare bedroom and my youngest moved back home so my room is a huge mess now 😒 btw you can use teeny tiny sewing pins to keep your Ribbon from unraveling. I used to play the violin as well. I think I'd hang it on the wall if I had my old 🎻

Hi. I like to use hemming pins instead of tape to keep the ribbons from unraveling. The holes a very small and I prefer them to the sticky residue that the tape can leave. 🤗 it’s looking cute!!
