Hormone replacement worked wonders for my mom you are right weigh your options know yourself. I went through menopause cold turkey I am 58 still having monthly mood swings that I cry days sometimes, use to get horrible hot flashes luckily that has eased. Everyone is individual you know you best. You been through a lot this year but the future is bright, good things are coming. You are a strong, intelligent, loving lady. You got this! My only suggestion always take a deep breath calm your thoughts do your research then trust your decisions.

I was on an Estrogen patch after my hysterectomy for 5 years the pills gave me bad headaches. It helped me you will find something that works for you & its not going to go on forever making yourself feel better is a top priority! Take Care Misty.

😂Right when you said, "I'm a bad vlogger," I was mentally screaming, "You are not 'bad' anything!! Don't be so negative with yourself!" and then you read the affirmation😂❤ Honestly, with the 2 channels, I think it would be easier on you to define each, like the Misty Show, being the vlog channel (including travel), and TJVH being vintage biz oriented. That way, you won't have the pressure of essentially doing 2 vlogs. You might also want to jot down how you want to define the 2 channels, and if one is actually a "vlog channel" what would the posting schedule look like. I think the chit chat that goes along with the live sales constitutes part of what a vlog incorporates, so it should count. ❤❤❤ You are doing great!

Oh, Misty...I know exactly what you're going through!!! I was 33, (I'm 69 now), when I went into early menopause. At the same time, my thyroid stopped working. I ended up at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn. for a week of intensive testing to see if my whole endocrine system was crashing. I was tested to see if my adrenal glands & pituitary were still functioning (they were!). I was on HRT for many, many years...then found out I shouldn't have been on HRT for as long as I was. Hot flashes are the worse thing ever!!! Sweating and becoming TOTALLY drenched from head to toe...then freezing from being so wet...it was HORRIBLE!!! No one can understand unless they've gone through that!!! My hubby learned to "read" my moods (yes, it took him awhile!). There were days I could hardly get out of bed. Eventually, my body adapted & I leveled out. Where I'm going with this long post is: please don't give up! It will take time, but things will get better & better. I know it's extremely frustrating now, but you will get better. You've got great support in Mark & your family. I'll pray for you!! 🙏 🙏 🙏 💗

When I was in my early 50’s going through menopause, I tried other natural approaches for about one year those didn’t work going through menopause made me nuts so I did hormone replacement therapy for about three years and it saved my marriage.. after three years the doctor slowly took me off of the hormone replacement therapy and I was normal again. Misty, do what you need to do. I wish I didn’t suffer that year before doing the hormone replacement therapy. Tori… now I’m 69 and happy, but me and my husband remember those menopause days 🤣

Hysterectomy at 36, the hot flashes, insomnia, crabbiness, etc went away with HRT. I haven't had any for 3 years and I'm dying. Mammogram Tuesday, back to the Dr on the 5th to see if I can start it again. It's hard being a woman and men are lucky we let them live lol.

You are adorb! I would have Loved to have been able to do hormone replacement, I was a crazy fool! But I have a blood disorder called Factor V Lieden & with that you are not allowed to do any Hormone Replacement Therapy. I found out I had it when my mom had Deep Vein Thrombosis. The doctor recommended all her Children be tested for it.

I don't know what your hormone situation is exactly obviously, so I don't know if this helps, but I know there is a hormone patch that I know some women use. 😅 I figured it was at least worth mentioning.

Is your thyroid wackadoodle? Kaiser, here, only tests TSH thyroid level for thyroid, not T3/4, you have to yell, loudly. So sorry, Misty. Being a female is a tough gig, we are wired so differently than men and even each other. I don't ever recommend hormones, we are riddled with cancer, literally, so no-go here. The best thing I can do is make sure my vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes are where they need to be. D, B, potassium, and iron are always depleted, bad genes. Thank you for walking with us, would love to see your little town. Get out into nature, every 2 hours, please! That Boo shirt is too cute!! ❤ P.S. I need E.T. 😊

The backwards videos are a bit hard to watch. I’m sure you will get the hang of the new camera soon enough. You talked about not liking shopping videos and being unhappy with doing your channel around the time you cut back on vlogging.
