Yes the gold metal rack held records. I had one when I was young. The glassware is what gets me. I love cut glass and any kind of dishes with pretty little flowers on them. I also love the craft section and vintage stuff.

The music note rack is probably for the smaller vinyl records. I used to have a similar one back in the 70s, but mine was triangular.

So sorry you were sick. I truly understand. I was out of commission for over a month with the cold/virus (whatever you want to call it) when it came our way. It was no fun! I think the brass piece with a music shape on the end is a record holder. - maybe 45's if not albums. Also, I loved that little white pitcher (creamer or gravy boat) with the embossed heart and flowers on it. I was so glad you got it! Blessings, Janell

That how I got started making wreaths and floral arrangements for my little "shop" I dont do it to make money its just a hobby of mine. I started making them for friends and family as memorial gifts. That musical rack is for records. I had one similar, but no musical notes on the ends. My husband has one of those pocket change trays, passed down from his dad. I use the little pie/tart plates to use under my potted plants on my porch. Looks much better than the plastic trays. I also buy ceramic planters from the thrift store. I've even used a chamber pot and soup turine as planters.

I caught a glimpse of a maroon sugar dish that I think would look gorgeous as a candle. I remember the diaper holder. When my baby sis came around we didn't have much room. I have gotten to the point where I almost refuse to go to Goodwill anymore because of the ridiculous prices. If you go to any other thrift store, the prices are what we are used to and not jacked up. Often times those other thrift stores are church ministries or other charitable organizations that I feel good about supporting as well.

I loved the floral black meal tray tables. They were very vintage looking and certainly unique. I hope that you bought them. Even to use as a tray in the kitchen or dining room. Takes a while to get your energy levels back and all those chores are just waiting for ya to get there!I ponder as to how Goodwill prices things as well. Mind you- I still find some great stuff for good prices but just the other day, I picked up a mini nativity scene to put away for next year as I plan on incorporating it on a wreath. It had an original Family Dollar sticker on it for 3 bucks but you can get it at your local Goodwill used and abused for 4.99! I said…. Ah, NOPE!

Yes Julie I hear green is the new color I just painted my dining room white with black trim but I have a cabinet in there that my brother built me 30 years ago and I painted the cabinet. It’s like a cubby cabinet mounted on the wall takes like the entire wall. It’s so cute. I painted a sage green and it really makes the room beautiful.
