Me too! It started to rain when we were just a few miles away, but the eagle landed safe and sound. Now we just have to make a proper stand for it. It's on the list of things to do!

Good morning, Chris! The eagle sculpture is so magnificent! Very impressive! The commode is nice! We bought a Victorian one last summer, complete with the original horse hair filled cover. Your copper kettle is such a lovely shape, and it does look great on your stove.

Thank you for posting about the Brimfield show. I live in CT also, and have it on my bucket list to visit. That July week was brutally hot, so I hope for September. Grateful you showed the prices. That commode looks fantastic supporting the wooden card catalogue. Makes it look balanced. If I had to do over again, I would purchase only antiques on taller legs as easier to clean underneath. As to that yellow sofa in your recent Marlborough antique/consignment video, my daughter purchased the second (one was on hold already). The down filling is luxurious and good price.

Hi Kris!! I agree its been so HOT here!! We also went to Brimfield .It was so terribly hot but we found many treasures, unfortunately the heat got the best of me so I had to sit in the truck with the AC on while my husband got all our goodies together. Your eagle that you purchased was magnificent!!!We will be going back in Sept.

You were SO SMART to sit in the truck with the AC! Honestly, my face was beet red for most of the day. It was brutal, but we were so happy with our eagle (and other purchases), it was worth it. If you see me in September, be sure to say hello!

@@simyeoh3916 thrifting is fun, but sometimes HOT AND DIRTY work! If you can enjoy it from the comfort of your car, all the better! My husband doesn't love thrifting either. He's more of an auction/antiques guy.

Don't be intimidated! The only slightly challenging part is deciding where to park, but the church parking that I showed in my video is VERY easy. There are cheaper options, but I find the church to be very straightforward.

I'm glad you could enjoy Brimfield from the comfort of your home! It was SO HOT! I thought you might like the theorem - it was so old and well done. Nothing inexpensive in that booth, but everything was amazing (and the dealers were so nice!) It was a squishy ride home, but well worth it.

Next time you come to Brimfield, come over to the Sturbridge Flea market, 559 Main St. Sturbridge. You can cool off in the AC if it’s hot. Lots of primitive decor, antique booths, vintage toys vintage decor. I have a booth here!

History List . I ordered from them all the time. They have some great history related t-shirts . My favorite t-shirt says “ history nerd” with a WWII era theme. Dressed down days at school I will wear them for to the high schoolers that I teach history too. They also will send you an email on Thursday with items they have for sale of historical value. Love , love them !!!

I agree, but I can also appreciate they may be hard to find (I don't know because I've never really looked!) I loved the dresser - I used to have one like it, but not nearly as ornate. the commode has been a fun addition to the study! (And used in such a more pleasant way now than in the past!) 😂😂

I'm so glad you found my channel! I just went there today and struggled to drive my GIGANTIC cart through the narrow aisles! I also thought the prices were quite high.
