I went to my local Savers store the other day and although they didn't have as great a deal as 50% off, I did get a 20% off voucher which I was able to use. I found an AMAZING light yellow bridal dress that is a bit too long for me, that either I'm going to alter or I will get someone else to alter, for $32 AUS. Sounds like a lot compared to your buys, but here in Australia I wouldn't even be able to afford the appliques on it for that money! Anyway I'm a musician/street performer and I go out dressed in pretty dresses and wigs/costumes etc, so this dress will be perfect! I also found a super glittery sequined jacket that will also be a great addition to my closet. Thrifting is so good!

Gaaaaah, I wish Ontario thrift stores had such great deals! I did find an American military dress suit for like fifteen bucks that fits as if it were made for me... I have no idea what I'm going to use it for though, hahahaha. I also got a cheapish Pikachu onesie for eight dollars from a Bible shop. (Mind you, these prices are Canadian, so for you that might seem cheap).

I always watch Tamara trifts and LGR trifts and others with huge envy because in here, people think 2nd hand stuff is like RETRO and ANTIQUE! So every broken arse item still costs like 10 euros, because its made by some company that makes other expensive stuffs. Even if the mug in question is not old, is still for sale, and new one only costs 4,98 Or Ikea stuff for double-triple the price, because we dont have Ikea in town and people seem to be stupid. But i can live vicariously through other people, dreaming of once finding an actual NES or PC Big Box game, working old tech or somethig that doesnt have a stupid price, because of course Super Mario / Duck Hunt is worth 50 euros.

I’ve found so many things during the past month! I’ve also found that thrift stores will have wedding dresses for sale for a high price normally but then they always will have cheaper costing dresses during Halloween. Not sure why they do this, but I take old dresses and dye them to make costumes so I am always down for them costing less moolah

Speaking of THOR, there was one Halloween, back when I was still working as a substitute teacher, I was teaching a Middle School Keyboarding class and a blonde girl walked in dressed like Thor. I just randomly mentioned, "Back in my day, we called her She-Ra!"............................she didn't have a clue who I was talking about (but this year, thanks to Netflix, many will likely get that now)

missemeriin I wouldn't attempt it.....maybe have someone you trust put them in? I have twitchy eyes and barely steady hands, and when I had prescribed contacts I tended to leave them in for fear of having to take them out.....with fashion contacts, at least the kind that I had once, they tend to dry the eyes out more so you have to take them out, and I left them in one night and ughhhhhh.....never again lol

Something to consider, and this is just a thought. I think it would be awesome if you stole a page out of Lazy Game Reviews' playbook and filmed your thrifting outings and narrorat over the footage. I'd live to see how you go about looking for things. PS. I hate giving compliments like this, and I hope you don't take it the wrong way. You're looking fantastic. The work you're putting into your body is showing.
