Fun finds! Pasco was the NYC importer of the Bavarian Hutschenreuther china from Germany. I also like the Nova Scotia tartan pieces. After I acquired some similar pieces myself, I learned that Nova Scotia (and several other locations around the world) celebrate “Tartan Day” annually on April 6. (Any excuse to use tartans works for me!) Thanks for sharing your trips and treasures - it’s always fun to ride along!

I'm so glad you enjoyed my finds. Thank you for the info about Pasco - I had no idea and I love learning about new things I could definitely get behind a tartan day myself! (But I definitely draw the line at bagpipe music in the background. Just saying).

Kris, I love 💕 all the things you purchased at the estate sale. 😊 The owner must have been a collector to have so many lovely pieces. I’m glad you found the Lenox, anyone out there liking this but wishing it had the dinner plates, no fears, just add a plain white dinner plate with a gold rimmed edge and BOOM 💥 complete set done ✔️

I'm so glad you enjoyed my finds! The owner definitely had some beautiful things. It was fun to see her treasures. Good point about the dinner plates - I think mixed pieces make a table more interesting!

Yes the Dedham pottery. I was yelling ‘pick it up’.

Oh no! I wish I could actually hear people yelling at me from the future when I'm doing my thrifting. It would be so very helpful to ensure I don't miss things! 😂😂

Great finds. It is always sad for me to enter an estate of a person that had moved on to the other side. So I seldom venture into such places. An older friend had mentioned about doing an auction when she past. So, maybe when the time comes, I will go to pick some things up to remember her. Thank you for the trip, but please drive carefully.

Thank you! I agree, it's very sad to think about the reason behind the estate sale. And it can be very meaningful to keep something to remember them by. I am so grateful to have so many things that belonged to my mother - it makes her seem close by, even though she's been gone a while now. ❤❤

@@WorthingtonHome agree. When anyone goes to an estate sales, one must be thankful for life we'll lived. The only estate sales that I had being was maybe 20 years ago. I did not buy much but bought her watch, and a pair of his umbrella and her umbrella. I still have them till this day .I thought it was so symbolically to keep my own time under the umbrella of living a life. Well, now I am collecting for something that is meaningful for me, from arts to antiques perspective, from my families, friends and historical. I love your explanation of historical meaning behind your finds. Thank you.

I love your channel and look forward to your postings. I grew up in an antique home with lots of antiques as my great uncle was an antique dealer from VT. Needless to say we visited him often and his presence of antique finds were present in my home. Do you list specifically which places you visit for your thrifting and antique finds?

I'm so glad you enjoy my channel - thank you for saying so! I bet your uncle saw some amazing pieces in his day! I always try to mention where I've been thrifting as part of the video. I'm also working on a list that I can share with viewers at some point in the future. It's on my to-do list!

I have never been to an estate sale. You got wonderful items ! That gw looked nice and had some good items! Where at?

Thank you! This particular estate was located in Berlin, Connecticut. Some estate sales are excellent, and others are not so good (I have a video coming out tomorrow featuring an estate sale that was not really for me). You never know unless you check it out. 🤷♀🤷♀

Quiet helps, for sure. I tend to procrastinate a little bit, but once I'm in the zone, I could list for ages.

FYI In England (and Canada which is part of the British commonwealth), the berry bowls are called fruit nappies. Just a bit of useless information for you 😊
