I graduated high school in 1974. The fashion! I loved it then and I still love it, and still wear it. Wish I'd had the forethought to hang onto all my wonderful "hip-hugger" bell-bottom jeans, tiny cropped sweater vests, high-waisted wide-leg trousers, groovy patterned Nik-Nik button-up blouses and gauzy skirts and crocheted halter-tops! I love looking back at my yearbooks. What a wild, crazy ride it was. ♥ Absolutely amazing finds, and your styling is spot-on!

I remember the 70’s . I have been watching your videos for awhile. I know that you favour browns, beige and neutral colours. Because you have dark hair I think that you should wear more colours like red, teal, royal blue, deep violet and emerald green. It makes me wonder if you are shying away from claiming space with your looks. Please give more colours a chance! Accessories like belts are also great on you!

Great finds once again! One caveat: 90s clothing that’s marked Made in the USA may have been made in sweatshop conditions in areas like Saipan or Guam, which were granted exceptions for low wages, poor conditions and remote location while still being allowed to use that descriptor with all the cozy local labor images it evokes. There’s an old NYT article titled: "Made in the USA? Hard Labor on a Pacific Island" for reference, for example. Similarly, some luxury leather goods marked Made in Italy in the last couple of decades were made by precarious immigrant African workers working in appalling conditions, but in Italy. Again, not the image of comfortable Italian artisans doing small scale manufacture that the phrase invokes. Edit: I’m not bringing this up to say don’t buy these things secondhand or to ruin such thrifted purchases for anyone. Once made, they should be used and kept out of landfills. Just FYI that words on tags may have a sneaky, more complex and unpleasant reality behind them.

70's Ralph Lauren is also very good! when I was a kid his adds were the most romantic and glamorous as well as interesting and full of exotic adventure or so it looked to my young self! Also Ives Saint Laurent 70's very fabulous! I was born in 1963 so I was around back then and loved fashion from a very early age I was looking at vogue when I was 11! I am still obsessed! XX

Yes, the 70s are very good for you. Body types go in and out of style too. And you are very much a 70s girl. For another reference you might check out a young Julia Roberts. She is more into the 80s but your mannerisms and body type are similar.
