I once went to a village, maybe 30 mins from Amsterdam. Found a second hand shop, called Kringloop, or in that style. There was a big basket and a sign all for 1 euro. found a Louis Vuitton bag. Needless to say I couln´t buy it for the advertized price.... :(

Small heads up, the spots you’ve visited are all vintage shops. Our equivalent of charity shops would be called kringloopwinkels. There’s a bunch of good ones in Amsterdam Oost.

I mean be logical the rent is amsterdam specially in the touristy area is very expensive but in holland there are outdoor markets that have used vintage second hand clothes. If you are going to go to stores is not gona be cheap but you are looking for too cheap..

I'm from the netherlands and know Amsterdam by heart, and what you have showed us here really is a disgrace to all thrift and bargain hunters in the netherlands! You went to all the wrong places man! There are about 12 "real" thriftstores in Amsterdam, 4x as cheap, such as the Rataplan shops or Leger des Heils shops! You have Gideon Italiaander, with has cheap new stuff and most famous of all Waterloo plein, where salesmen are selling used clothing, and all sorts of stuff 6 days a week outside! Piles of clothes on the floor, with possible gems for 2 euro a piece! Maybe next time bro! Also very nice for you would be the ijhallen fleamarket, ones a month, biggest in Europe i think, on the north side of Amsterdam over the water! And if you really want to go all in, you shoud try Kingsday in april, everybody in the netherlands selling there stuff for cheap 2 days longs in the cities on the streets and having fun and drinking, etc! cheers my man!
